If there are multiple connector options for your machine we will show you them. Usually you would need to remove your old screen to match it via the specs and photographs on our website. If there is only one option listed on our site you can buy without checking this.

Usually, contrary to popular belief it isn"t to make our lives difficult. Usually cost saving measures are the cause of this as many 15.6" bottom left hand connector screens are in fact technically top right hand side screens, fitted upside down. With a screen fitted upside down, the connector is now at the bottom and far less cable is required from the base of the laptop to the screen connector.

This is a low-temperature solder alloy that is specifically designed to contaminate the existing solder on the board so as to reduce the melt temperature to a very low value.

My wife contacted me, from the other side of the planet, to tell me that her laptop was having trouble. The screen would only work when the laptop was partially open. I told her that I could probably fix it when she got back home.

My laptop screen works but the touchscreen capability is gone and undetected by my laptop, post a power port replacement. Is there a specific cabling connection dedicated to the touchscreen function? I had to take 3 laptops apart last week. Aside from sourcing replacement parts, I think releasing the plastic case tabs without breaking them is the hardest part of a laptop repair. I use the corner of an old credit card to pop them. A disassembly guide helps to find those hidden screws while not removing any you don"t need to, and a reminder of where everything goes when you put it back together.
