We offer the TFT module WF43WTYBEDSG0#000 designed to support the Arduino board. The control signal for WF43WTYBEDSG0 is 3.3V; it has a built-in storage device (FLASH 32M). The control signal of WF43WTYBEDSG0#000 is 5V; without a built-in storage device (FLASH); but with a MicroSD Socket, pins CON1~CON4 are designed for SPI control (such as for Arduino Uno Rev3). WF43W model can be operating at temperatures from -20℃ to+ 70℃ and storage temperatures from -30℃ to +80℃.

These screens are commonly seen in consumer electronics, such as miniature TV"s, GPS"s, handheld games car displays, etc. A 40-pin connector has 8 red, 8 green, and 8 blue parallel pins, for 24 bit color capability. It comes with HX8257A controller and optional 4-wire resistive touch panel screen which can be easily controlled by MCU such as 8051, PIC, AVR, ARDUINO, and ARM. FocusLCDs.com sent me a free sample of a 4x3” TFT LCD (P/N: E43RG34827LW2M300-R) to try out. This is a color active matrix TFT (Thin Film Transistor) LCD (liquid crystal display) that uses amorphous silicon TFT as a switching device. This model is composed of a Transmissive type TFT-LCD Panel, driver circuit, backlight unit. The resolution of a 4.3” TFT-LCD contains 480x272 pixels, and can display up to 16.7M colors.
For this project, you would need the RA8875 driver board (available at AdaFruit for US$35) to interface the TFT display to the Arduino. It comes with a header which you can solder on as needed.
