About 6 months or so ago I had somehow cracked the screen on my Samsung phone. It wasn"t too bad and just in one corner so I was living with it until last weekend when the rest of it managed to pretty much shatter.

I took my time and I think that you really must have a heat gun. The back of the phone clips on but if you heat it up a bit it comes apart much easier. The screen is glued into its frame and again I used my heat guy to soften the glue and then the whole thing came apart.

I carefully cleaned the frame to remove any old glue and little pieces of broken glass and after that I applied new glue from the kit before I put the new screen in place. The connections are easy to reconnect and I had everything back together again in about 15 minutes. I"d say all total it took me about 30-45 minutes to have it running again.
