adafruit 2.8 tft lcd install buster for sale

I installed the software via the installer script and done a few of the ones below (for the 2.4") and when rebooting, I am getting nothing on the LCD display screen, just it being lit up, white background.

I"m guessing that hdmi_force_hotplug=1 is set if you run sudo python3 adafruit-pitft.py --display=28r --rotation=90 --install-type=fbcpsudo python3 to echo the HDMI output to the PiTFT
