PMOLED (Organic Active Matrix Display) is an Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED) display, one of the more advanced display technologies currently on the market. Compared to other technologies such as LCD and AMOLED, the price of PMOLED is comparatively higher.

First, the production cost of PMOLED is relatively high. Like other electronic products, the production of PMOLED requires expensive production equipment and technology, and requires the use of high-quality raw materials, such as organic light-emitting diodes and substrates. In addition, the production process of PMOLED also requires higher technical difficulty and longer production cycle.

Second, the market size for PMOLED is smaller than other technologies. Due to the high production cost of PMOLED, it is mainly used in high-end market segments, such as watches, health monitoring equipment, automotive displays, etc. In contrast, the two technologies, LCD and AMOLED, have larger markets and can be widely used in large-scale display devices such as smartphones, tablet computers, and TVs.

Finally, the performance of PMOLED is relatively low. Although PMOLED has excellent performance in terms of bright colors, high contrast ratio, and high energy efficiency, its display effect needs to be improved compared with other technologies due to its low pixel density and low resolution.

To sum up, the price of PMOLED is indeed higher than other technologies. However, with the continuous innovation of technology and the continuous expansion of the market, the cost of PMOLED will gradually decrease, and its market share is expected to grow rapidly.
