The little red, green, and blue dots that make up our LCD screens are a common enough sight, but it"s not often that you get to see them up close in motion. This video from a macro photography enthusiast does just that, showing how dynamic and granular our monitors and phone displays really are.

It"s worth noting that there are different kinds of LCD displays, and they might look very different under the microscope. Some have different numbers of red, green, and blue sub-pixels that make up each whole pixel. And the sub-pixels might have a different shape, or be packed more loosely or densely.

Who this is for: A dual-monitor setup is usually the best option if you want to have a bunch of app windows open at once. But an ultrawide model might be a better choice if you need a ton of unbroken horizontal space, or you don’t want monitor bezels in between windows.

Most ultrawide monitors are also curved. This design helps minimize viewing-angle problems—when you’re sitting centered, things on the far edges of the screen won’t look as washed out as they would on a flat display of a similar width. But this also makes ultrawide monitors inaccurate for precision tasks requiring straight lines, such as drawing, photo editing, or similar design work.

Multiple cameras, which are monitored through a single parent unit, allows you to watch two children or more without switching between screens or devices. Split-Screen functionality allows you to see both children at once, allowing you to be in 3 places at once! Split screen mode allows you to view two rooms at once, but you will only hear sounds from the camera being monitored at the time. Easily switch between the cameras with a press of a button or automatically when in SCAN Mode.​

You can pair up to 4 cameras to one parent unit. The monitor is supplied with 2 cameras. You can buy additional add-on cameras and pair them to the same parent unit. Please note that a camera cannot be paired to more than 1 parent unit at a time.
