lg d pn cn-0mc13k-56252-01p-0a02-a00 17.3 lcd panel control board supplier

On my first order they shipped me the wrong product for the wrong display connector, but an easy return and replacement through amazon gave me the right board that"s listed for my LP156WF4 SPJ1 panel from a broken Toshiba Satellite P50t-B. Another reviewer posted a 1 star review below complaining that the connector is too small; I fear that they ran into the same problem as I did but did not try to get a replacement.

After finding my own 12v 1.5A supply (I didnt have a 2A one unfortunately) the panel easily connects and works at 60hz. However, there is one problem with its performance.

There is a noise-like flickering of random pixels throughout the dark areas of the display. It does not come from the HDMI connection; it happens even with no input. Just whenever there is a dark area in an image, random pixels blink red green or blue almost like noise on an old TV when there is no input. The effect isn"t noticeable from either long distance or if the dark area isn"t the focus on screen, but still this makes the screen is imperfect compared to any other traditional monitor. I wont rule out that perhaps my power supply is too small, but I run it at 50% brightness so I find a lack of power highly unlikely. I can"t complain too much, it is a $30 sketchy Chinese board, but I would appreciate any thoughts on what is the problem here if anyone knows.

|UPDATE| Two days after trying the board with some defects, the second time I try it just doesn"t work. First, with everything plugged in the same way it was two days prior, the LED would alternate blinking green and red, implying a connection problem with the display as specified in the manual. So I decided to use the second cable they include. However with the second cable, the LED doesn"t light up at all and the display doesn"t power on. Changing back to the old cable and the LED still doesn"t light up. I do not know what happened, but this board does not work anymore. I was in a static free workspace and was grounded. Along with the artifacting random pixels I conclude that my unit is defective and will unfortunately get a refund for the product. I really hoped this would work.
