The limited warranty set forth below is given by Canon U.S.A., Inc. ("Canon USA") with respect to the Canon imageCLASS Series product and accessories packaged with this limited warranty (collectively, the "Product") when purchased and used in the United States.

Cartridges for the product are covered by a separate warranty. Accordingly, this limited warranty does not cover any cartridges for the product, whether shipped with the product or purchased thereafter.

Canon USA warrants the Product to be free from defects in workmanship and materials under normal use and service for a period of one year after delivery to the original purchaser ("Purchaser") by Canon USA or its authorized Reseller. During the relevant warranty period, and in its sole discretion, Canon USA shall, or shall cause its authorized service provider ("Service Provider"), to, without charge, repair, or replace any defective part with a new or comparable rebuilt part, or exchange the Product with a new or refurbished Product. Warranty replacement shall not extend the warranty period of the malfunctioning Product. This warranty shall not extend to consumables, such as paper, as to which there shall be no warranty or replacement.

If Canon USA"s remote assistance above cannot fix your Product"s malfunction, Canon USA shall provide the contact information of the nearest authorized Canon USA Service Provider ("Service Provider") for service, or will exchange the Product, except where the malfunction involves a user replaceable item, in which case Canon USA will send you a replacement part with installation instructions. You will be responsible for installing the user replaceable items in your Product.

If the service or exchange is performed, and (1) the Product malfunction is not covered by this limited warranty, or (2) the applicable warranty period has expired or has not been sufficiently established by appropriate documentation, then you will be charged for such service at the then current service rates of Canon USA or the Service Provider, or for such exchange, as applicable.

This warranty shall only apply if the Product is used in conjunction with compatible computers, peripheral equipment, and software. Canon USA shall have no responsibility for such items except for compatible Canon brand peripheral equipment covered by a separate warranty ("Separate Warranty"). Repairs of such Canon brand peripheral equipment shall be governed by the terms of the Separate Warranty. Nor does this warranty extend to any Product on which the original identification marks or serial numbers have been defaced, removed, or altered.

ANY SYSTEM SOFTWARE (WHETHER FACTORY LOADED ON THE PRODUCT OR CONTAINED ON THE SOFTWARE CD-ROM"S ENCLOSED WITH, OR ACCOMPANYING, THE PRODUCT), AND ANY UTILITY SOFTWARE, DISTRIBUTED WITH OR FOR THE PRODUCT, IS SOLD "AS IS" AND WITHOUT WARRANTY BY CANON USA. 1. Copy/print speeds are measured based on internal testing using letter size paper copied/printed with 100% copy/print ratio to original on one-sided paper. Internal testing involved continuously copying/printing the same one page of content on plain paper (copy speed is tested by copying on the platen glass). Copy/print speeds may vary depending on paper type, paper size or paper feeding direction. The device may automatically pause or slow down in order to adjust printer condition such as controlling temperature of a certain unit or limiting impact to image quality during continuous copying/printing.

4. The Public Switched Telephone Network currently supports fax modem speeds of 28.8 Kbps or lower, depending on telephone line conditions. Sending and receiving fax machines need to conform to ITU-T v.34 guidelines.

9. Mopria Print Service, available for free at the Google Play Store, requires a compatible Android KitKat 4.4 smartphone or tablet. The printer must be either wirelessly connected to the network router or with an Ethernet cable. The mobile device and printer must be connected to the same network.

Please restart the computer after the files have been reinstalled. Once the computer is back on, reconnect the printer to the computer, wait a few minutes, and then scan a document.

History - On the onset let me tell you all, this is my second Canon Printer. Previously used Canon LBP2900B and Canon Lide 100 scanner. This combination used for around 10 years and the scanner conked. The printer still works.

Requirements - Wanted a multi functional setup with Dual side printing, auto document feed, photo copy and LAN & / WiFi. Looking into many other companies like HP, Epson, Brother finally decided to go with Canon. Previous experience got the brand loyalty of me.

Overall - The printer has USB, LAN and WiFi connections for printing and scanning. There is a graphic LCD display on the front side panel which can be tilted upwards for better visibility. It has fair number of key(s) with specific and general functionality. It can do photo copying also. This feature is really quick and good. Top side is the flat bed scanner and document feeder. Two trays for paper at the bottom. It can also directly print from mobile phones. A lot of network related features.

Printer - Good print quality with dual side print and various other paper saving print programs. Booklet, envelope printing and other document functionality also present, not tested them yet. The print software in Windows has all the control features.

The Screen for initiating operations and screens for specifying settings appear in the display. You can also view job progress and messages here. Touch the display to operate it.

If you register destinations beforehand as coded dial numbers, they can be quickly displayed by simply entering a three-digit number. Registering in the Address Book

Displays the amount remaining in the toner cartridges. Other internal parts may reach the end of their lifetime before the toner runs out.

Messages are displayed at the top of the screen in situations such as when end of toner cartridge lifetime is reached or when a cover is left open. The display alternates between showing the normal screen and the message.

In some cases when an error occurs, instructions on how to respond to the error are displayed. Follow the on-screen instructions to solve the problem. The screen displayed when a paper jam occurs is shown below as an example (When an Error Message Appears).
