I bought this to go with my Esky® EC170-07 High Definition Color CCD Waterproof Car Backup Camera Vechile Rear View Camera with 170 Degree Viewing Angle, LAB-503 Updated Version. A lot of people say that the cameras that they buy with these screens look washed out or very bright, however it is these screens that are making it seemed washed out- not the camera. This screen is very guilty of washing out footage. I would not fully rely on this screen for backing up, but it is good for a reference point on how close you are getting to something.

The reason I am giving this products 3 stars instead of 4 is because of the His Gadget customer service. They have some of the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. When I received the monitor, it was already damaged. It was missing the pin in the video cable so it would not actually play video. I called the company for a replacement and after a long ordeal of dealing with the faulty product, I was not in a good mood. There was a problem where they could not find my order at first. After a long time of them trying to find my actual order, we could finally proceed with the return. The gentleman I dealt with promised he would send me return shipping label and it never happened. He was not sorry for sending a bad product out to me and tried to act more inconvenienced than I was. After several weeks of waiting, I ended up just calling Amazon to help deal with their god-awful customer service. Thankfully, Amazon got it worked out within a few minutes.

After a day and a half of being installed, this little screen really is not living up to what it is actually supposed to do. I am knocking off another star. I just sent in my request for another monitor. Black lines appeared on my screen and it no longer opens. The button that allows the monitor to spring open does not actually trigger it to open any more. I"ve opened the screen less than five times so this is a very large disappointment. I feel that I am being incredibly generous with giving this product even just two stars.

I, again, had to knock off another star. When the previous monitor started to act up, Amy from HisGadget promised me that their warehouse employees would personally check my monitor so that it works. When it arrived, a very large scratch was on the screen. All that was said was that they were sorry for the scratch and did not offer a replacement. I was OK with a scratch though, so it is OK. Now, many days later, my screen no longer opens up. My guess is, being parked in the sun warps the plastic component that opens the screen.
