To resize a LCD is literally to cut the glass, polarizers, circuits and circuit boards to a new size. Years ago, it was thought impossible to preserve the original performance of a previously manufactured LCD once the glass circuits are cut. However, Litemax has done the impossible, over and over again, becoming the world"s leading pioneer and leader in LCD resizing solutions.

Squarepixel series is designed for high brightness with power efficiency LED backlight. It provides LCD panel with specific aspect ratios and sunlight readable for digital signage, public transportation, exhibition hall, department store, and the vending machines.

The spirit of Durapixel indeed lies with its name: durability. Why Durapixel? Commercial-grade LCD displays, due to the competitive pricing structure, are unable to offer more than MTBF of 30,000 hours, which will not be sufficient for any applications that require around-the-clock operations. System designers, integrators and users serious about rugged, industrial displays for demanding environments need to look no further – the unfailingly robust and high-quality Durapixel is the key to each of your success.

UbiPixel, industrial LCDs are used in many professional applications. High bright sunlight readable and low power consumption display technologies offer the highest quality LCDs for specific industrial applications. Our embedded LCD can be manufactured in an open frame, VESA mount, or fully enclosed housing for HMI display, KIOSK, Vending machine, home automation, point-of-sale terminals, digital signage and more. Marine displays from Litemax are internationally recognized and certified with a proven track record of satisfying all types of scenarios, applications and environments for maritime professionals and organizations. Whether the project involves system building, maintenance, repair or equipment upgrade of a yacht, a submarine or any relevant maritime structure, Litemax"s marine displays guarantee high quality and performance from the dock to the engine room.

The Litemax ITRP series is fanless Passenger Information System, It features stretched LCD display, with high brightness to ensure easy readability even in light-insufficient environments. It serves as a reliable platform to provide passenger information on wide versatility of vehicles, such as bus and trams.

Intel® offers the Intel® Smart Display Module (Intel® SDM) specification and reference design that can be integrated into the sleekest all-in-one designs. Intel® SDM delivers the same level of intelligence and interoperability as the Open Pluggable Specification, but in our smallest form factor yet eliminates the housing and advances the thinnest integrated displays.

LCD display doesn’t operate the same way as CRT displays , which fires electrons at a glass screen, a LCD display has individual pixels arranged in a rectangular grid. Each pixel has RGB(Red, Green, Blue) sub-pixel that can be turned on or off. When all of a pixel’s sub-pixels are turned off, it appears black. When all the sub-pixels are turned on 100%, it appears white. By adjusting the individual levels of red, green, and blue light, millions of color combinations are possible

The pixels of the LCD screen were made by circuitry and electrodes of the backplane. Each sub-pixel contains a TFT (Thin Film Transistor) element.  These structures are formed by depositing various materials (metals and silicon) on to the glass substrate that will become one part of the complete display “stack,” and then making them through photolithography. For more information about TFT LCDs, please refer to “

The etched pixels by photolith process are the Native Resolution. Actually, all the flat panel displays, LCD, OLED, Plasma etc.) have native resolution which are different from CRT monitors

Although we can define a LCD display with resolution, a Full HD resolution on screen size of a 15” monitor or a 27” monitor will show different. The screen “fineness” is very important for some application, like medical, or even our cell phone. If the display “fineness” is not enough, the display will look “pixelized” which is unable to show details.

But you see other lower resolution available, that is because video cards are doing the trick. A video card can display a lower LCD screen resolution than the LCD’s built-in native resolution. The video cards can combine the pixels and turn a higher resolution into lower resolution, or just use part of the full screen. But video cards can’t do the magic to exceed the native resolution.

You can correct the problem easily by resizing video with Movavi Video Converter. The program supports all popular video formats, including AVI, MOV, MP4, MPEG, and WMV, so you can use it to resize movies in almost any format as well as reduce video file size if necessary. Movavi Video Converter offers plenty of ready-made presets for popular websites and social networks, enabling you to resize video for YouTube, Facebook, and other sites.

Let’s have a closer look at the fourth step. In Movavi Video Converter, you’ll find plenty of options for changing the resolution of your movie: you can use one of four automatic resizing presets, choose one of the standard video resolutions, or even set the width and height of your clip manually.Automatic presetsAll these four methods preserve the original frame proportions with no distortion in the output clip.Smart fit

The size calculation is exactly the same as for the Smart fit tool, but, using this method, you can’t enlarge the original frame size. If you try to set a higher resolution, the resulting video will still have the same size as the original. “But how can it help me with processing video?” you may be asking yourself. Just imagine that you have a number of video clips, all with different resolutions, and you need to set a limit on their width and height during the conversion process. For example, imagine you are converting video for a mobile device with an 800 × 600 screen and you have three clips: 640 × 480, 800 × 600, and 1920 × 1080. If you manually set the 800 × 600 output resolution or use Smart fit, all three clips will be resized – the resolution of the first two clips will be enlarged, and for the third it will be reduced. However, for 640 × 480 and 800 × 600 videos, this kind of resizing is pointless for two reasons:These clips can be correctly displayed on your device at their current size.

Best (Slow) – uses bicubic interpolation. This process works much more slowly, but the quality of the output video is higher. When you increase the frame size, the image is smoothed and there is no pixelation. Additionally, when you reduce the frame size using this method, moiré patterns and other unwanted effects are much less likely to appear than for the other three methods, which can cause thin lines on your video to look broken and have an irregular thickness; Best quality will maintain the integrity of the thin lines. Now you know about the resize types available in Movavi Video Converter and can choose the one that’s right for you.
