Overall, I am satisfied with this product, the price was good and shipping was fast. the only problem is that you need to check that the pins on the I2C board are not shorting to the back of the LCD board. On the one I received it was shorting between one of the pins on the 4-pin connector (of the I2C board) to a solder joint on the the rear of the display board. The basic problem; there was not enough clearence between the boards to accomidate the pin length of the connector pins on the rear side of the I2C board. To fix the problem without unsoldering all the pins of the board, I pushed son insulation material (thin insulator sheet) between the 4-pin conector pins and the LCD display board.
