A little over a decade ago, our little school had ordered two Promethean projection systems that served really quite well for almost a decade. But technology had advanced quite a lot and the old boards were (in technology terms) geriatric; though they were still functional, we decided to replace them with these new touchscreen systems which are fabulous! Not only do they take up substantially less space, but they are (projection verses screen) MUCH less sensitive to ambient light issues. Though we ordered sizes that are much smaller than the 80 inchers they replaced, the picture quality and usability for the students in the classroom is a night and day difference. Now, if they last a decade light the previous projection systems, they"ll truly be considered a steal!
