I’ve got the MSI Optix G273QF. Originally I thought that they were pieces of dirt stuck to my screen so I tried to clean it off as you would but after realising it wouldn’t come off I noticed it’s these small little bubbles on the screen. I was wondering if anybody knows what it is or what causes this? I’ve only had this monitor for 8 months so I don’t really want to get a new one. I contacted MSI support and said they can look at it for further review but it’ll take 2-3 weeks which I don’t have the patience for. Based on the images is it worth sending off to get checked? It’s something that seems minor and the screen works perfectly fine but it’s one of those things that’ll bug me if I don’t know what’s going on.

I was able to plug this old LCD into a TV, which I think it"s 720p only because it worked with the 1366x768, and when changed to 1920 the image was worse. At 1366 all icons filled the screen, so a better TV would be suitable for Windows 10. The image doesn"t present any sign of bubbles, so it"s OK.

I am not seeing a 3rd possibility, because it"s highly unlikely the monitor would just create these cloud spots all of sudden after 2 hardware changes. If this is what happened then it"s a huge coincidence.

Just recently I"ve noticed a very sticky liquid leaking out of one corner of the screen. There are now bright and dark patches on the screen near where it"s leaking. As well as round the screen the sticky stuff gets onto the base of the laptop where I rest my hands to type. lt"s really hard to clean off and I"m worried it may be toxic.

There has been no physical damage to the laptop at all - it just started leaking. Is this a common fault or is it a sign of a defect in the design and manufacture?

Ive not had big problems with bubbles and screen replacements have you done these types of repairs before and keep having that problem? It may sound ghetto but when doing window tinting you can use a hairdryer to heat it up a bit and it will stretch out then use a kind of scraping tool to get the bubble out. Should work the same with a phone i wouldnt see why not. As far as the business goes i wouldn"t reccomend doign a glass only type of thing, i would highly reccomend if you"re going to do it repair all phone problems and if you can"t fix it or its totally shot thats fine just tell the customer and dont charge them. Im starting a game console and phone repair business where i am now and for someone your age i would reccomend you try that out unless you live somewhere that you have plenty of clients and opportunity to make money where i am theres not a lot of money going around so game consoles are pretty trendy along with the smartphones. One last thing don"t worry about spending hundreds or thousands of dollars on anything for a business until you already have the business going trust me you"ll get discouraged spending a thousand dollars on something and then finding out you can only make a hundred dollars a week or less on average so pace yourself and start with simple repairs work your way up to complex things and build a large understanding of what you want to work with. As a young person your biggest problem will be people not taking you seriously or trusting you have the knowledge to do something so work on speaking and knowledge and you should be able to get over that hurdle. Hope some of that us helpful.

Well if you have a demand for that in your area then i would say go for it. I have honestly not heard of the things you"re talking about but i have not done many phone repairs just a couple and i didnt have any specific issues. Maybe some of the newer stuff is like that but i cant say i know anything about it. The best i can figure from a google search is that its cured by a screen/digitzer replacement and it could be caused from internal pressure or heat causing weird things to happen. Did you replace a screen on a phone and have problems with bubbles or something this is the first ive really heard of issues like this.

I really don"t understand it seems like overkill to me because i would just buy broken iphones as is and keep a stock of extras rather than spending a ton of money on a machine that does one thing. Best thing i can say is try calling those people and talking to them about it because i like fully disassembling parts cleaning them making sure there are no internal problems and that everything is tight so this kind of thing im not interested in. Youre doing the right thing by seeking more information so just keep on that i couldnt justify getting into this one for the price and two because i like seeing the inside of the phone and double checking everything inside and out.

One of the most important ways you can ensure the highest payment for your broken LCDs is to ensure they are safely packed before shipping. Please remember: the total value in each shipment is determined by the number of good LCD screens and spare parts, not just in the number LCD screens shipped. Typically, your LCD screens are already broken in some way.

Manufactures do not design the LCD screens to withstand the elements once removed from a handset. Pressure points, dust, dirt, moisture and the chances of electronic static discharge are greatly increased once removed.

Consider a safe storage area for your LCD screens the moment they’re removed from the mobile device. Placing the defective LCD screen back into a bubble bag or storage sleeve is considered best practice.

1. Place LCD screens Face to Face with flex cables positioned in the same direction. This protects the LCDs as well as provides more space within your shipment.

3. Stack 5 pairs to complete a set of 10 total LCD screens. As mentioned above, these 10 total screens are face to face and back to back. Packing more than 10 to a set increases chances of breakage; any less wastes unnecessary packing space.

4. Secure each set of 10 LCD screens in bubble wrap or other protective material. Taping the bubbles sets is recommended. You want the wrapping to be tight enough so the LCD screens do not shift around, but not tight to the point where pressure might damage the screens.

NOTE: If you do not have bubble wrap, using a rubber band to secure sets of 10 screens along with multiple layers of newspaper is better than not wrapping at all.

5. Place sets of screens in the packing box. Use a layer of bubbles, crinkled newspaper, or other material to line the bottom of the box. It’s best to line the sides of the box once you have a few sets in the box along with more crinkled newspaper on top.

Before you tape the box shut, close the box lid and give the package a hard five-second shake. If you can feel any contents move around, more filler material is needed.

It’s highly recommended that each box contains no more than 350-400 LCD or exceeds 35lbs in weight. Also make sure you do not exceed the weight limit of the box.

Writing “Fragile – Glass Contents” on all faces of the box in large visible writing will likely increase the care that carrier employees take when handling the parcel.
