When will the best Black Friday monitor deals start in 2022?Black Friday will be on November 25 this year and, as per tradition, we expect to see some excellent sales before then. Traditionally the best discounts have been on the day itself and though that’s still generally true, recent years have seen an increase in retailers launching Black Friday pricing earlier, for instance at the start of Thanksgiving week if not before.

Even before that week, there are plenty of sales in the month leading up to the special day, with some as early as October. Based on last year’s deals, some of them can be either nearly or even equal to the deals on and around Black Friday. And that’s a pattern that should repeat itself this year.

One of the most things to be aware of as you search for monitor sales on Black Friday is that retailers are trying to push off old stock. This means that you might come across what looks to be a great deal, only to find out later that the monitor is several years old with outdated specs. Of course, that doesn’t make it useless, as most monitors are still perfectly usable.

Keep in mind that monitors at the very least should be 1080p resolution which is the bare minimum HD resolution, preferably 4k if you can afford it but 1080p is still perfectly fine. From there, your needs will vary based on what kind of work you need your monitor for.

Meanwhile, for gaming monitors, the two most important factors other than resolution are refresh rate and response time. For the former, the higher the number the better since it represents the number of times per second that the image refreshes on the screen. Refresh rates of 144Hz and above are particularly good.

If you"re looking for monitors at cheaper prices, be aware that some manufacturers may cut corners with certain other specs in order to lower that price. For instance, one of the inexpensive monitors on sale last year has a subpar sound quality to balance out the other high specs like 4k resolution.Black Friday monitor deals are happening right now, and you can save a good chunk of money with thebest cheap monitor deals.

Now that Black Friday is over, it’s easy to worry you’ve missed out on all the best deals. But if you’re in the market for a new monitor, the good news is there are a ton of Black Friday monitor deals still on! With so many Black Friday deals available right now, we’ve picked out some great options for many different situations. That includes gaming monitors, budget-priced screens for working on, and everything else in between. Whether you’re looking to improve your gaming experience or simply expand your desktop with a second monitor, this is the time to do it. Read on while we take you through the great options we’ve picked out.

Everybody knows Dell as a computer maker, but the brand also offers some of the best monitors around — especially for those on a budget. If all you need is a no-frills, no-nonsense 1080p display for a work desktop and you want to spend around 100 bucks, look no further than the Dell SE2422H. This 22-inch monitor sports a Full HD VA panel with a 75Hz refresh rate. That’s not going to set the world on fire, but that’s not what this monitor is intended to do. It’s perfectly good enough for work, school, and other productivity tasks, and does it without putting too big of a dent in your bank account thanks to early Black Friday monitor deals knocking the price down to less than a single Benjamin. Just hook it up to your PC via VGA or HDMI and you’re ready to rock.

Black Friday Dell deals include a solid bargain on this 27-inch monitor, so if you’re looking for something a bit bigger than your standard 22-inch and 24-inch displays, the Dell SE2722H might scratch that itch. It’s very similar to the 22-inch Dell SE2222H in terms of specs, featuring a 1080p VA panel with a 75Hz refresh rate. Nothing groundbreaking, but at 27 inches diagonally, the Dell SE2722H gives you more screen real estate to work with than what you normally get with cheap monitors in this price bracket. An anti-glare coating and Dell’s ComfortView technology (which reduces harsh light in the evening hours) also make it comfortable to work on for extended periods. At this price, the 27-inch Dell SE2722H is a very solid work monitor for not a lot of money.

Looking to take your desktop workstation into the world of 4K? The 27-inch Dell S2721QS monitor lets you make the jump to Ultra HD without spending a small fortune. The display, which boasts a resolution of 3840 x 2160, is also an IPS panel, delivering a more color-accurate picture and wider viewing angles than standard TN and VA panels (which are more common, less expensive monitors, like those above). This 4K display also has some nice extra features such as AMD FreeSync, support for HDR playback, and ComfortView, making it suitable for multimedia use. If you’re looking for a jack-of-all-trades 4K monitor for a very reasonable price, early Black Friday monitor deals mark this one down to less than $300.

Want to go even bigger? The Dell S3221QS is a plus-sized monitor that would be an ideal upgrade to any desktop workstation. It’s a 4K display, too, with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 at 60Hz. The VA panel is curved, which is something we like to see with a monitor of this size. That gentle curvature offers a more comfortable and immersive viewing angle when you’re sitting close (which you likely are if you’re sitting at a desk), whereas a standard flat-paneled monitor of this size can cause that “washing out” effect at the edges of the screen when you’re looking at it head-on. A 3000:1 contrast ratio, support for more than a billion colors, three input ports (two HDMI 2.0 and one DisplayPort), AMD FreeSync, and HDR support tick the boxes of pretty much everything we look for in a 4K monitor in this price bracket.

If you’re specifically interested in a display built especially for gaming, then you want something more than your standard work monitor. Vertical sync technologies, higher refresh rates, and higher response times are a few things to look for in a gaming monitor, and the massive, 49-inch Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 has them all. We ranked the last-gen 1440p model among the best gaming monitors, but this one outperforms it thanks to its 4K UHD panel. The Odyssey Neo G9 also supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro for a smooth picture free of screen-tearing, while its slick 240Hz refresh rate lets you crank up the framerate without issue. The 1ms response time virtually eliminates input lag, as well — and did we mention that that gorgeous 49-inch 4K panel is curved, for an even more immersive gaming experience? It’s not cheap, but the Odyssey Neo G9 will be the last gaming monitor you need to buy for a long, longtime, and ongoing Black Friday monitor deals lessen the hit to your wallet.

This portable monitor works with both Mac and PC, as well as consoles like the PS5 and Nintendo Switch. It"s lightweight, has a 1,920x1,080-pixel screen resolution, produces 300 nits of brightness and has a matte screen finish with anti-glare coating, making it ultraportable and easy to see from pretty much any angle. It also has two built-in stereo speakers. And while my Dell XPS laptop certainly comes equipped with better sound, the monitor was loud enough that I took several Zoom calls without noticing I had the wrong speakers switched (though I definitely heard the difference when streaming music later on).

The monitor comes with a magnetic cover to protect the screen when it"s not in use, as well as USB-C to USB-C, USB-A to USB-C and Mini-HDMI to HDMI cables and a 5-volt 3-amp wall charger. It can also be used in both landscape and portrait modes, and while I use mine while on the road primarily, you can attach this monitor to a VESA mount if you want a permanent addition to your workspace. It also has FreeSync, making this a decent pick for gamers looking for a budget-friendly option.

Science fiction has always served as a window into a potential future, namely in the way of technology. But what was once regulated to episodes of Star Trek is quickly becoming the stuff of reality. Many fixtures of these kinds of shows and books have begun to inspire real-life counterparts, including - but not limited to - touchscreen technology.

One only has to look at how far cell phones have come since their inception. Physical keyboards, like those from BlackBerry, gave people about as much of a solution as is possible for those who found themselves doing more on the devices as they became more advanced. Where tactile options came up short, touchscreens graciously stepped up to bat, providing a much fuller experience. This kind of functionality then spread to tablets, which are considered by many to be rivals of laptops and even standard PCs.

While there are still some things that are best done on a desktop computer, that does not change the fact that many users find themselves longing for the same abilities on their PCs afforded by many of their mobile devices. This is what helped breed the touchscreen monitor market, which has many viable options for people seeking the best of both worlds. With stronger computing power and a finer ability to control actions occurring in the screen, users can get more work done in new and exciting ways.

Traditionally, computer mice are what have allowed us to "touch" in a virtual context, but touchscreen monitors are changing all that. It might be said that the reason that mice were used in the first place was because the technology had not evolved to a responsive enough level to enable that natural solution. Now that people have the touchscreen technology, they want it everywhere.

If one thing is for certain, it is that the burgeoning adoption of touchscreen technology is no fad. Proliferation has already come too far to turn back now, and computer manufacturers are taking notice. Everyone is trying to get a piece of the action, including ELO Touch Solutions, Laiputuo Electronics, Planar, HP, 3M, Touch Systems, ViewSonic, Dell and ACER as well. Getting into the touchscreen monitor game is a no-brainer for the companies involved in this generation of computing. With so many different applications made for touchscreen monitors, options exist for all sorts of interested parties.

Touchscreen monitors are becoming the new standard in both private and enterprise settings. Here are some of the ways they can be leveraged effectively for business: touchscreen monitors for workstations, touchscreen monitors for hospitals, and touchscreen monitors for POS systems.

Newegg offers a large selection of touchscreen monitors which vary according to the type from 5-wire Resistive touchscreen monitors, and Accu Touch touchscreen monitors, to Capacitive touchscreen monitors, and more. Newegg’s wide selections will definitely meet your needs.

Arzopa is back with some extremely generous discounts on their top-of-the-range portable monitors this Black Friday. This limited-time sale offers a comprehensive range of monitors, from a device that is so light and slim you won’t even know you’re carrying it, to a 17.3” screen that has sound and picture quality that will blow your mind yet can still fit into your backpack with ease.

15.6” is the most popular screen size for regular laptop screens, but that’s not the only reason that this monitor is one of Arzopa’s bestsellers. Weighing in at a floaty 1.44 lbs, this means that they have managed to somehow shave another 3.8 ounces off of the popular Arzopa S1, and we thought that was light!

Talking of picture quality, this monitor features Full High Definition (FHD) 1920x1080 resolution on an IPS screen that uses liquid crystals to produce rich colors and perfect viewing angles. It has wide compatibility, too, with a fully functional USB-C port, which is very useful for pass-through charging. It also has an HDMI port, making connecting to basically any device a breeze.

For those that want even more screen space, the Arzopa A1 Max is finally here! With its gorgeous 17.3” FHD advanced gaming screen, this monitor is a thing of beauty. This is the largest screen that Arzopa has in its range. The extra couple of inches really gets the most out of the IPS screen to produce astonishing images with deep, vivid colors.

IPS (In-Plane Switching) is a screen technology that uses liquid-crystal displays (LCDs). These screens have a layer of liquid crystals sandwiched between two glass surfaces that are aligned parallel to the surfaces and reoriented by an electronic field. This basically means that, unlike LEDs, you can view these screens from any angle and still get gorgeous visuals without compromising definition and color.

This monitor is great for gaming or watching movies. As well as mind-blowing picture quality, the sound is also top-notch with built-in dual speakers and a 3-in-1 display mode which means you can duplicate your screen, extend it or have a second screen entirely.

Arzopa’s final Black Friday discount offering is the ultra-slim and super-light Arzopa Portable Monitor 2k. With a thickness of just 0.3 inches and weighing a gravity-defying 1.41lb, this device is easy to carry around, offering great work efficiency on the go.

In spite of its smaller size, this little fella still gives you a 2560x1600 high-resolution screen and 60hz refresh rate, giving you excellent clarity and brilliant color contrast.

Like all of these monitors mentioned here today, the Arzopa A1 2k 13.3” is easy to set up. You just need one USB-C cable to connect it to your laptop, as this cable provides power supply AND signal transmission. This means fewer cables and less hassle. Seriously, Arzopa could not have made it any easy or more convenient to get awesome quality extra-screen real estate while on the go.

This monitor was designed by Arzopa with Apple users in mind, and it syncs up well as a second screen for MacBooks especially. That being said, it can hook up easily to virtually any other device.

All of these monitors come with a sturdy, scratch-proof smart cover. These are magnetic and slap strongly onto the monitor with a satisfyingly deep click. This makes it feel solid and gives you confidence that you won’t damage it when you travel. It also doubles up as an easy-to-use stand, so you can conveniently prop it up with no fuss, and feel confident it will stay in place.

Whether you’re an on-the-go student who needs more screen space or a gamer looking to expand your setup, these monitors will elevate your experience up to a level that you’ll never want to come back down from. Head over to Amazon now and pick one up now before it’s too late.

Black Friday began on Friday, November 25, 2022, but continuous to provide new deals through the weekend and even today on Cyber Monday. Although 2020 and 2021 saw some stock struggles when it came to PC parts (specifically for GPUs), it seems that the hype has died down enough for companies to have some pretty impressive sales concerning computers, laptops, monitors, and other hardware this November. That"s great news for anyone looking to perfect their current PC build or to secure a new PC for productivity, gaming, work, or simply web surfing.

With Black Friday 2022 expected to feature a wide array of sales in the computing space, we"ve put together a guide to help consumers identify some of the deepest discounts available. Here are the best post-Black Friday and Cyber Monday PC, Monitor and Laptop deals.

Here"s a look at some of the best PC deals we"ve seen from around the web. These deals are strictly reserved for Tower-based PCs that are either pre-built or buildable from a company. Those looking to get their hands on a good tower PC at a discount price can check out some great deals here. These products are meant to be unboxed and combined with peripherals (monitors, mice, keyboards, etc., in a plug-and-play style manner). This is the fastest and easiest way to get the Tower PC experience at a discount.

The following deals are related to all things Laptop. Those looking for a portable PC that they can turn on and use right out of the box should check out some of the most prominent discounts below. There"s an array of different portable and mobile setups here that should appeal to everyone. From gaming, to work, and just general use, Black Friday offers some of the best pricing on Laptops.

Those looking to fire up a tower PC (or add another screen to their laptop) will need to get their hands on a monitor. Although it"s possible to use any old screen, those that want to get the best visuals possible will want to invest in a monitor with higher resolution capabilities. This is especially true for gamers, as they"ll definitely benefit from a better-quality monitor that boasts an improved refresh rate to keep up with today"s fast-paced releases.

What good is a quality monitor if a video card is incapable of producing quality visuals? Thankfully, the GPU shortage that plagued PC gamers and enthusiasts over the last year seems to have quieted down quite a bit. Although there are still some cards that can be a bit of a hassle to find, many stocks are filling back up, and it"s much easier to secure a great GPU. Once Black Friday hits, PC fanatics should see even greater discounts on some of the best GPUs on the market, as well as other hardware savings on items like RAM, CPUs, and more.

Whether it"s a tower PC or a laptop, consumers will need some great peripherals to go with it. Thankfully, Black Friday will see some great sales on a variety of devices like mice, keyboards, webcams, and much more. Here"s a look at some of the best deals pertaining to plug-and-play and add-on devices that buyers can take advantage of this season.

The official start date of Black Friday 2022 is the 25th of November. However, in recent years, we have seen early Black Friday deals starting several weeks beforehand, making November one of the most deal intensive months of the year. Moreover, with Thanksgiving falling on the Thursday prior to Black Friday, there is even more reason to see deals from certain retailers begin the week before. Black Friday deals continue until the end of the weekend, with Cyber Monday deals starting on Monday the 28th.

Cyber Monday is here, which means it’s your last chance to swoop in and take advantage of any monitor deals. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, don’t fret. The team at PCWorld curated a list of the best monitor deals available right now. Whether you’re on the hunt for a lightning fast gaming monitor or a luxurious 4K workstation, we’ve got a wide variety on tap today. If you’re interested in other tech deals, check out PCWorld’s complete Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals coverage.

There’s nothing more annoying than playing a competitive game on a monitor that lags. When every second matters, you need something that can keep up with the flow. That’s where gaming monitors come in. Their high refresh rates are designed to make your game look as smooth as possible. Check out the options below.

Are you a content creator? If so, you should consider picking up a 4K monitor. These monitors are perfect for video editing thanks to their high resolution displays. They’re also a good pick for movie buffs. There’s nothing quite like watching your favorite flick on a 4K display, where the details are ultra-sharp.

The ThinkVision P32p-20 is a solid deal because of its resolution, screen size, and response time. In other words, you’re getting the best bang for your buck.

Yes, absolutely, you can find some great deals on monitors during the week of Black Friday/Cyber Monday—as evidenced by the great deals in the article above. Mind you, in some tech categories—like say, wireless earbuds or phone chargers—you’ll see discounts on off-brand gear we’d never recommend. But when it comes to monitors, highly reputable brands like HP, Dell, Samsung and Lenovo will drop prices on great models. PCWorld strives to only recommend deals on solid monitors that are experiencing legitimate pricing drops. To this end, we look for models that have reached or fallen below their all-time-low prices.

No, there’s no reason why the monitor deals you find during Cyber Monday should be lower quality—at least if you focus on the big-name manufacturers like Samsung, Philips, LG, Dell, HP, Lenovo and so on. It’s true that some of the discounted monitors may be 2021 models, but there’s nothing wrong with that. Monitor tech moves rather slowly and there won’t be major quality differences between 2021 and 2022 models. The important thing is to get a monitor at a legitimately lower price—and we have done the heavy lifting to curate those legit deals.

Let’s first talk about refresh rate, which is important if you’re looking for a gaming monitor. The refresh rate is how fast a monitor can redraw the image on its screen. The faster the refresh rate, the smoother your visuals will look. For competitive first-person shooters, we’d recommend 120Hz as the minimum rate. Anything higher is good enough for the eSports realm.

Resolution is another important feature to consider. Much like the refresh rate, the higher the number, the better. We’re talking about the quality of images and video here. 1080p is the bare minimum for most monitors. However, if you’re a video editor, bumping the resolution up to 4K makes a massive difference, as it allows you to see more detail.

The final thing is the screen size. 27 inches is the most common and a good size for a home office. For gaming monitors, 24 or 27 inches is best.
