The Zeitronix LCD display is a versatile, easy to mount display for the Zeitronix Zt-2 Wideband System. The LCD display plugs in and powers up using a single 5 foot long wire connecting to the Zt-2 DATA port. There are no extra wires for power connections. The Zeitronix LCD display is available with either a silver or black aluminum case. Multiple display configurations can be created, including renaming the Zt-2"s "User2" input text. User2 text can be letters numbers or symbols and is not limited to the examples given above. See below for more details on the LCD display format.

The LCD display provides a stealthy look and important tuning data in high contrast digital format. The LCD fonts are bright white on a black background. High contrast LCD digits are visible even in a direct sunlight. A push of a button located on the right side of the LCD shows peak and hold maximum AFR, Lambda, EGT, Boost and "User2" input values.

The dataloging software can be downloaded for free on their site for anyone wanting to veiw how simple it works and its capabilities. This thing perfectly compliments the Rude controler for tuning needs. The Zeitronix controler comes with a single wire lead that hooks to a Zietronix warning module (purchased seperately) that not only gives you a visual alert but allows you to hook to a relay (NO or NC). The circuit is software configurable that allows you to control the relay based on a given variable. For instance you can set it to open or close the relay if the AFRs go higher than 11.9 at say 8550 RPM. You can set the duration of the relay to open between 0-120 seconds. You can set as many variable as you want, say if the EGTs rise above 1500 or so. The point of having this is the ability to be able to either kill the engine (0-120 seconds), send an audible alarm, and etc (make the ski fool proof). Any device that is monitored can be used for a variable condition, AFRs, RPMs, EGT, FP, MAP, MAT, Water Temps, and etc. All can be monitored at the same time and conditions for relay open or close to activate. The mapping software displays all the above on one screen if installed correctly and is easilly read due to the display. FF or RW at a slide of the mouse. The LCD is easily read in direct sunlight.

I ordered the LCD because it shows more than a dual gauge, and also because the white LCD text is close in color to the factory gauge needles. The only thing I don"t like about it is that no matter how you set the LCD up it will always display EGT in the bottom right hand corner. I have AFR / AFR on the top row. And BOOST / EGT on the bottom row now. I made a little mount for the LCD out of black milliput epoxy putty. The mount works great but would look a lot nicer if I sanded it. I never see the mount from the drivers seat so Ill probably never sand it and make it look nice.
