Technology is great… until it stops working. Your fancy Keurig 2.0 comes with a touch screen display. Many owners have experienced a sudden issue with the Keurig 2.0 touch screen not working properly. It may dim, blank, or have lines running through it. Here are some simple things you can try to do to fix it.

If the reset doesn’t solve any issue you are having with your screen, you may want to try simply wiping it down. It might sound crazy, but this simple fix has worked for several Keurig owners on social media.

Turn the machine off. Spray a little bit of Lysol or Windex onto a soft cloth or paper towel and wipe the screen. Be sure clean around the edges where the bevel meets the screen. Dirt and dust can get trapped in there and cause the Keurig screen to not be working the right way.

If none of the above solutions worked for your Keurig 2.0, you should contact Keurig support. If you registered your machine and it is still under warranty, they may be able to help you fix it.

Keurig 2.0 comes with newly developed innovative technology and has acquired a positive rating globally since it delivers silky and swift coffee in a matter of seconds. Keurig 2.0 brewers were launched in 2014, and after a few years, they were discontinued.

Keurig 2.0 comes with a touchscreen Display. However, many Keurig machine owners complained about the sudden issue with Keurig 2.0 touch screen not working properly. The issue is mostly dim, black, or lines running through the machine. Some customers have also reported broken screens on Keurig 2.0

Unfortunately, there is not as exact information available to solve these issues, so I have done an extensive research to find out the right solution. So, keep reading to learn how.

Normally the most common Reason for the Keurig touch screen not working is a software issue. This problem can easily be countered by resetting the machine or simply restarting the machine.Reset the machine

If resetting the machine doesn’t work for you, try cleaning the touch screen of your Keurig machine. This simple fix appears to have worked for some Keurig owners.

All you need is to turn off the machine. Wipe the screen with a soft cloth or paper towel dampened with some cleaning agent or water. Make sure to clean the screen thoroughly because sometimes dirt and dust can get caught within the screen, preventing the Keurig screen from working properly.

Check the LCD screen if your Keurig screen is not working properly. The reason might be the connection of your LCD screen becoming loose. Here is a step-by-step guide on troubleshooting the Keurig screen. With the help of a screwdriver, remove two screws (140 mm screws) that are located on the lower side of the chamber lid. Also, remove the top black housing of the Keurig coffee maker which surrounds the screen.

Open the snaps that are holding the LCD screen with the brewer with a metal spudger. ( be careful as these snaps are fragile and might be prone to leakage)

Detach the white modular. This is used to connect the LCD screen to the circuit board’s wires. By gently squeezing the sides and pulling them around, you can remove it.

Plug the white modular back properly and see if the screen has started working or not. If yes, That’s Great! If not, then might be the screen is damaged and you have to replace it.

If none of the above steps helps in fixing the issue, you need to contact Keurig customer supportto seek professional help. If you have registered your machine and it is still under warranty, they will assist you in solving this problem free of cost.

Your Keurig stopped working or it’s not brewing properly? Need help with Keurig 2.0 troubleshooting? Here are the most common Keurig 2.0 problems and how you can solve them.

This can be frustrating but don’t worry, most of these things can be fixed in a few easy steps. Here are Keurig 2.0 troubleshooting tips you can use to fix your coffee maker (and your morning as well).

If everything seems fine, the water reservoir is in place, the brew button has been pressed and nothing happens for more than 5 minutes, call Keurig Customer Service so they can troubleshoot your machine.

To turn on Keurig 2.0, plug in the brewer, then press and hold the power button (the power icon will appear in the bottom right corner of the touchscreen). You should see a Welcome note. If it doesn’t turn on you can try several things: check to make sure that the brewer is plugged securely; unplug and plug in the brewer; plug the brewer into a different outlet. As the last step, Keurig even recommends resetting your home’s circuit breaker.

It’s absolutely normal for a Keurig 2.0 not to dispense water in a stream but to trickle coffee. As long as you get a selected beverage size everything it’s fine. If you’re getting only partial cups, try cleaning exit needles and descaling the machine.

If nothing is clogged but the machine still leaks, it’s probably the hose or valve inside the machine and you will need to call Keurig Support for further assistance.

If your Keurig 2.0 won’t stop pumping water try the tap method: turn off the unit, remove the water tank, turn the machine upside down, shake slightly and tap the bottom a few times.

If you’re using distilled water, switch to tap, filtered, or bottled water – this should fix the problem. It’s not recommended to use distilled or softened water in Keurig coffee makers.

If your Keurig 2.0 is leaking water after brewing, try cleaning the k cup holder and exit needles, and don’t forget the little tray that sits under the k cup holder. This part can get full of grounds and debris and that can cause problems. Take it out and wash it with dish soap and warm water.

Keurig “water under pressure” error indicates the problem with the exit needle. Carefully open the handle, take out the pod and clean the exit needle. You can clean exit needles using a paper clip or you can use Keurig maintenance accessory. If this happens more than once or twice in a row, or cleaning isn’t helping anymore (that’s possible too) call customer service for assistance.

Unplug and plug in the brewer again to repeat the process, just in case. Make sure that the water reservoir is in place and there is enough water in the tank. If everything seems fine but still nothing happens, it’s recommended to call Keurig customer service.

There is a fix that worked for some of our readers. Unplug the machine, fill the tank with hot water and turn the machine back on. The machine should recognize hot water and start working again. Please note, Keurig only recommends adding cold water in the tank, so while the fix usually helps please use it at your own risk.

Sometimes Keurig 2.0 won’t brew if there’s not enough water in the reservoir. If you lift the handle or move a carafe after you turn on the auto ON, the auto brew will cancel.

Unfortunately, screen issues are a very common Keurig 2.0 problem. Usually either the touch screen doesn’t work or there’s a blank screen. There’s really not much you can do about it except unplug and plug in the brewer to see if it work. This fix can often help (YouTube), so you can try that as well.

Please pay attention to how often this happens. If it’s just once or twice it’s not a big deal, but if you think it’s happening too often, call Customer Service. It’s not something that will solve on its own and you probably don’t want to turn the machine on and off all the time because the screen goes crazy.

If you’re getting ground in your cup, switch to tap or bottled water. Keurig doesn’t recommend using softened or distilled water in their machines. If you’re using softened water, empty the tank, fill the tank with tap water and run a few rinse cycles to rinse the machine. This should solve the problem and you should be able to make the coffee without any issues.

If you want to use your own coffee in Keurig 2.0 or you simply prefer eco-friendly options, you can purchase Keurig 2.0 reusable filter for $8.00. This filter works with all 2.0 series brewers and it’s optimized for brewing a k-cup size (4 – 12 ounce). If you want to brew your own coffee as a carafe, you can get a reusable carafe filter.

I hope this helps. If this didn’t solve your problem or you don’t see a specific issue listed here, please contact Keurig Customer Service for further help. Customer Service is available 7 days a week at 866-901-2739.

remove the phillips head screws under bottom of lcd screen; there are 6 of them. Pop the clips visible all the way around housing. Carefully if your concerned about cosmetics. this will expose the brain, main 2.0 button and lcd screen housing. Unplug lcd screen plugs and motherboard plugs. you could try to find a replacement for these parts which I am in the process of doing, or try to dry it out, which may be too late. you can catch up with me at bigbrainbrotha@gmail.com if you want to see what I found next should I forget to come back with completed resolution. Looking like the lcd is the common issue for all of us with these units. I am sorely disappointed that this hardware was not waterproofed more and keurigs failure to stand behind it is despicable. They know its an issue and offer no support only to discount a new product when this one works fine!

This device however convenient is POORLY MADE. DO NOT BUY IT. I was able to open the unit up. No help from Keurig. I pulled the motherboard and lcd screen out. The motherboard is fine. I was able to get it to run preheating process after touching the back of the lcd screen that is unresponsive to touch. I WIPED the machine down and I get this. TERRIBLE. I is a water device, why would you not put parts that are protected from liquid and steam as I have seen with other complaints. They offered me 35 percent off of a new device instead of taking this piece of junk back and fixing their flawed design. BUT DRONES WILL KEEP ON BUYING won"t we, instead of making them stand behind their product. What sad is people posting here that they got a new one because it was under warranty. FIND A NEW THREAD. Before I shell out another 180 bucks for something that worked for years, and quit working from wiping it down?! THEY KNOW. This should be a recall PERIOD. I will not be buying another product from this company until they stand up and do the right thing FOR ALL OF US! SMH. Shame on keurig. If i can find a replacement LCD it will stay, otherwise I will put this whole thing in the trash and there it will STAY!

LCD damaged from moisture and a TERRIBLE DESIGN by keurig. Its a joke. I cracked mine open since it is no longer under warranty. The motherboard is fine as I am sure yours is. I will keep you posted on fix.

Bypass general customer care and speak to corporate and MAKE THEM SEND YOU A NEW DEVICE OUTSIDE OF WARRANTY. I did. These folks are aware and their engineers are taking pride in fixing the issue. For the folks that posted in here they got a new one inside of warranty WASTED TIME typing to hear yourself talk. Seriously?! Really. I owned this pampered device for 4 years and it worked FLAWLESSLY. I was happy with it and as a matter of fact said it was one of the best appliances I have owned because it was sturdy and it lasts. New one on the way! Because I told them what I found instead of just accepting a discount for a new one and believing what I was told. FIND OUT! Do not accept anything sub-par when you spend the coin on these devices you do.

Simple yet effective Keurig troubleshooting tips, tricks, and quick fixes to common problems of all Keurig Coffee Makers including Keurig 2.0, Keurig Mini, Keurig Rivo, and many more. Find ways of getting around your everyday Keurig Coffee Maker troubles.

The Keurig Coffee Machinestaring at you from your countertop has been a spooky jerk lately. You are frustrated and storming the web to find a cure for your Keurig. This does not sound anything like excellence, surely. And all I am doing is discussing the Dutch Language.

Think about all the days Keurig has served savory cups to the coffee addict in you. Now, keep calm and follow these Keurig troubleshooting tips to make your

While Keurig coffee makers usually last 3-5 years, there is a range of things that can go wrong with a perfectly well-functioning machine. Keurig is no different.

From refusing to switch on to refusing to close shut, it can come up with anything. It can stop dispensing water, stop heating, start leaking and even demand to add water when it is already full. A non-responsive touch screen and the power button is another array of trouble that you may face.

Sometimes, after a power outage, your Keurig may simply seize to work. Even if everything seems alright from the outside, it may start brewing an odd quality or quantity of coffee. The one that freaks me out is when it starts making a humming noise while it’s turned off.

One single solution to multiple Keurig problems is the Keurig Coffee Maker Reset option. Reset your Keurig and see whether your issue has already been resolved or not.

Although Keurig coffee machines are easy to use, they don’t have a reset button. We are going to show you two ways in which you can reset your Keurig- basic and advanced.

Specific Keurig troubles need specific troubleshooting techniques. Here are some common issues, one of which you may be facing right now. We have troubleshooting tips for them.

One of the most common troubles that Keurig users face is their Keurig refusing to work after some time. ‘Not working’ is a general term, though. The more specific troubles your Keurig may come up with are-

When you hold the power button of a plugged-in Keurig coffee maker, normally you’ll notice a power icon and a welcome note appear on the touch screen. If this does not happen, follow these steps-

This device comes with a built-in feature of turning itself off after 90 seconds of inactivity. There is nothing wrong with the device. You just need to power it on every time you use it.

If the “Auto off” feature is turned on, your Keurig Elite will turn off after 2 hours of its last brew. You will know this feature is on if the green “Auto off” light glows.

One common reason why your Keurig may seize to brew is debris such as dried coffee grounds or calcium building inside the waterline or pump. Tap water contains a variety of minerals and that is what causes this trouble.

Step 1: Hand wash it with mild soap and a soft cloth. [Note: The reservoir is not dishwasher proof, so you have to hand wash it. Use mild dishwashing soap such as

You have not changed your coffee brand and have done nothing new. The coffee that your Keurig brews for you is supposed to retain its taste. Instead of delivering that consistency, your Keurig is brewing odd-tasting coffee.

Believe me, when I say this, it is not a specific Keurig issue. It can happen to any coffee machine when a significant proportion of minerals accumulate inside it. These minerals come from the tap water that you use to fill the water reservoir.

If you are not getting the brew size you selected and your cup remains half empty, you are looking at a clogged needle problem here. A coffee maker needle gets clogged by coffee grounds and cocoa mix.

Step 2: Carry out a cycle of water-only brew. If you choose a 6 oz size brew, then keep a measuring cup and see whether your Keurig has correctly dispensed 6 oz water or not.

But before you do that, it is highly recommended that you start using a water filter for your Keurig Coffee Machine. A water filter removes chlorine, odor, and other impurities from water.

Step 5: Clean the entry and exit needles. Make sure to be cautious during this step. Needles are sharp and you would not fancy pricking yourself. May I remind you that a Keurig Needle Cleaning Tool kit really comes in handy.

If your Keurig 2.0 display is blank, try unplugging the brewer and plugging it back on. See if the issue is resolved. If your Keurig 2.0 touch screen is still cold towards you, get ready for some troubleshooting.

When a Keurig becomes non-responsive after a power outage, most probably a sudden surge of voltage when the power came back has damaged your Keurig. It is better to call Customer Care regarding this issue. Even then, you can try these measures to try to bring your Keurig 2.0 back to life. Here is what you can do:

You have unplugged and plugged in your Keurig but the humming persists. As I already mentioned this is something that scared me the most and I found the answer is in its sensor.

Quick Fix: Locate a little ring just underneath the brewing chamber head. Fiddle with it a bit and try closing your Keurig again. This should solve your trouble.

The tips and tricks to get around our Keurig troubles generally apply to most of the Keurig Coffee Machines. Whether you have a Keurig Mini, Keurig 2.0, Mr. Coffee Keurig or Keurig Rivo these are some of the handiest Keurig troubleshooting tips and generally apply to any Keurig Coffee Maker.

You have most probably busted the spooky Keurig trouble by now, but if you could not, then the problem with your device is more complicated. It is a great idea to call Customer Careand let the manufacturer have a look. They are just a call away.

Enjoy your coffee. And while you are at it, think of the good number of K-cups you are going to need now that you have a functioning Keurig at your service.

When a Keurig brewer is powered on, a green light indicator or a display screen is activated at the front of the machine, signaling that the brewer is ready for use. If there’s no green light or if the display screen isn’t activated, it means that your brewer isn’t powered on and can’t brew.

The Keurig brewer may fail to turn on due to switch, power chord, thermostat, fuse, and control board problems. First, troubleshoot your house’s electrical wiring and check if the socket is powered before troubleshooting Keurig components.

If your Keurig coffee machine won’t turn on, the problem most likely lies within the electrical outlet rather than the brewer itself. Or maybe, the power cable could be loosely connected to the socket. If you’ve checked and ensured that the Keurig brewer is well plugged in but still not powering on, try powering on a different appliance on the same outlet, such as a toaster or a blender.

If the other appliance powers on, then there’s a problem with your Keurig brewer. Or maybe you’re simply forgetting to turn the power switch at the back of your Keurig brewer to the ‘ON’ position.

Common causes of power-on failure in Keurig machines include a non-responsive ‘power on’ button and display screen. Other parts that could develop faults leading to the Keurig not turning on are described in detail below.

External ‘power on’ buttons, switches, and knobs engage the switch, causing your Keurig coffee maker to turn on. Thus, if there’s a power-on failure, it’s likely that there’s a fault with the engagement of the switch, or the switch itself could be damaged.

Your Keurig unit may also fail to turn on if the power cord is cut and the wires aren’t properly connecting. An old power cord that has been bent too many times may also have wires with poor contact.

The control board, circuit board, or circuit motherboard is the brain of your coffee maker. It tells your Keurig what to do by facilitating communication between all the electronic components. As such, if the ‘power on’ components of the control board develops a problem, the machine won’t turn on.

The thermostat works to regulate the internal temperatures of your Keurig, preventing the machine from overheating. A faulty thermostat can also cause power-on failure in your Keurig brewer, even if the thermal fuses aren’t burned out.

The fastest and simplest fix for a Keurig coffee machine that won’t turn on is to reset it. However, Keurig brewers don’t have a reset button. There are two general types of Keurig brewers: Keurig 1.0 and Keurig 2.0 machines. Each of them has different procedures for resetting.

Finally, reattach the water tank, plug in the brewer, and turn the power button back on. At this point, the Keurig brewer will have been reset and ready for use.

Keurig 2.0 models are much harder to fully reset as they feature more computer-driven components. A basic reset as detailed above might not do the trick, and the advanced reset procedure detailed below is recommended to get it to turn on again.

Note: Basic and advanced resetting may fail to solve the power-on failure problem on your Keurig brewer. In such instances, you may have to troubleshoot and repair or replace the individual faulty components.

We recommend calling in an appliance repair professional to fix your faulty Keurig switch, power cord, thermostat, or circuit board. There are also various online resources that can help you safely troubleshoot and repair appliances like Keurig brewers by yourself.

keurig 2.0 lcd screen not working brands

I have the same problem. I’m so tired of going through Kurig machine because they all stop working after 10 -12 months. My first duo stopped working on the carafe side after about 9 months. My replacement is now doing the same thing after 6. Im so over it.

i have only used this side maybe 3 or 4 times. Now got clogged and won"t work. Called customer service. They want to send me a new needle. I told him that has nothing to do with the brewing side. it has something to do with the water line its getting clogged and my filter fills with water and wont come out. Now all my lights are on and won"t turn off. Now the other side for my k-cups is not working. if i can get the k-cup side working that is all I need. Will take the new part and hopefully that side will work. Not happy I need my coffee.

Take all the removable parts off of your Keurig (water tank, filter and basket, carafe and cup tray), turn machine onto its side where you can see up into where you would put the basket. It is probably filled with old coffee grounds. Take some q-tips and toothpicks and scrap out the grounds. Turn it upside down and tap it to get them out. You should be able to put it back together, and power it up. Run a full pot of water through it. You might have to repeat this a couple of times until the line clears, took me doing this several times to get it to work properly. Keurig tried to tell me my machine was broken, it isn"t, just clogged up. Works fine now.I guess they can keep their 48 cent coupon.

Seems like a trend after reading the comments on this site. My first Keurig Duo quit brewing the coffee pot side of things after about 10 months of service. The red light would start flashing immediately after selecting the pot size. I called Customer Service and after some discussion, they replaced it. The same thing is happening now with the replacement. I love the idea of having the choice of brewing a pot of a single cup, but this machine has been nothing but trouble!

Thanks to this site I called and customer service took care of it. I have owned several types of their coffeemakers and have always received great service. Thank you Keurig.

Carafe side no longer brewing. Serial number is 2 years old apparently, bought on Amazon a year ago. Customer service guy was friendly. In the end offered a measly 20% discount on a new one. That’s ok customer service but nothing to brag about.

I have a Keurig Duo and my problem is with the coffee brewing side. Occasionally after brewing it appears that the coffee grounds have exploded in the top of the coffee maker and it is very difficult to clean.

For those that are using the K-Cup side and it"s only brewing a little bit and then acting like it"s done. With my 2.0, if there are grounds Stuck in the Middle it will do that. You unplug it and then take a safety pin and wiggle it around in the three holes that are in the needle. The needle that punctures the cup actually has three tiny segments that are indented. Just wiggle it around in there and then run a cup of hot water. It has fix my machine every time.

It will not brew coffee. It runs about a tablespoon full and then the please wait hot do not lift message comes on and will not go off unless I unplug from wall outlet and reset. Then it still will not brew. I have taken apart and cleaned with no luck. Not happy...what can I do?

My old Keurig quit brewing after a K-Cup exploded in it. I cleaned everything and then it wouldn"t brew. I called customer service and they were helpful. It quit putting holes in the bottom of the cup so they are sending me the part to fix this. Hopefully this will work. My model that makes a whole pot is obsolete and they only offer single cup brewers now.

I have been a Keurig user since 2007. You couldn"t buy K-cups in any grocery store, I used to buy them online. I recently replaced my little, one cup machine for a 2.0 K350. I should have never purchased it! This is the worst machine ever. Exploding K-cups or cups that never finish brewing. I have done everything short of building a new machine. It acts as if the cups are not long enough to get punctured by the needle. I have also checked that and the cups actually push up instead of getting pierced by the needle. I have found a Gourmia online and I am going to give them a try. Fingers crossed.

Received mine as a gift. Keep getting underpresure message . Cleaned as instructed with paper clip. Next brew good. Then under pressure message . Not a happy coffee drinker.

Due to the fact that you cannot use a manual K- cup, (refillable), or anything that doesn"t fit exactly right in the holder. K-Cups will not stay in the correct position so it keeps creating the message that the water is under pressure. I have gone through a case of K-cups trying to get it to work. I contacted customer service I have CLEANED the needle 2-3 times with the process in the trouble shooting guide.

It is not that the needle isn"t clean it is only two months old. I am so disappointed I had an old style Keurig and and threw it out because it only made about 6 oz at a time. It did work though!

If I could find the part I would try just replacing the basket. I really do not have time to run back and forth to the store or pack it up and ship it back.

Setting not compatible with carafe... remove carafe... I have tried every setting I could but to no avail. Pod has 4 on it but it will not let me change 2 on pod setting to 4

Screen blank except button in right bottom corner. Press it and it starts pumping water. Only stops when unplugged. Tried all the reset tricks: holding the on icon, slapping it, etc, still keeps pumping water. Can"t get to another screen to try any of the other tricks but I can drain cold water as fast and as long as I can put it in??

I have tried about everything to get my Keurig to run. It had been running sluggish and I noticed the de-scale light was one. I started de-scaling with vinegar and it completely quit. Water is coming out of the side dispenser. The needles are clean. I tried covering the white flexible nozzel that goes into the resevouir. When I first did that, it spit out alot of light brownish liquid. After that, nothing. Hums as if it is taking in water, but the water level does not go down. It will not produce anything. Suggestions?

Ok, so I attempted to rescale my unit. It of course got plugged like it does every time. Watched some videos and ended up turning it upside down and banging the crap out of it, blew out the the plastic piece where the reservoir is and blew out the line where the needle is in the front. Now the Keurig says it’s ready to brew. When I lift the handle and close it again, it says ready to brew but none of the lights blink to select a cup to brew. Does anyone have any ideas on how to correct this? Could I have got some things set inside that is preventing something from engaging in there?

My K-500 2.0 brewer is 2 years old. Works great for the first cup in the morning, but when making second cup 20 minutes later, it stops half way through and says "please wait", then it says "preheating" which it is not, as you cannot hear the element heating the water. It may or may not finish this second cup, if it does, it takes at least 5 minutes. After this again this morning, it shut off then came back on on its own and poured a half cup of water into the tray (no pod in the machine). It"s been cleaned and like I said, first cup always works fine. Sound more like an electronic/computer issue, anyone have any ideas?

I have a brand new K250. I started the initial cleansing brew process as the manual describes. When I lift and lower the handle I never see the dispense hot water message. There is no cartridge in the unit. Instead I see the brew your first k-cup screen suggesting brew size, strong selection etc. Has anyone else experienced this issue and if yes is there a fix. I can process hot water from the brew menu but this issue tells me there may be a fundamental problem with this unit. Please advise. Thanks.

I came to this site looking for reason why my keurig 425 wasn"t brewing or just dripping ... I tried the paper clip to clean out needle..then i read comment about turning over the coffee machine hitting from the bottom.( once you removed the water tank and drip tray) i did it maybe 2 or 3 times..I started brewing full force :). my niece start laughing at me...

All three size buttons plus menu resuscitated my B60! I had the dreaded "Not Ready" message and had tried dozens of solutions. Four buttons did the trick.

I"d probed every tube in this machine to no avail. The screen cleaning worked fior me. I had already been pricing a new one. Thanks for the information.

Alright. I didn"t see this issue in the comments below so here goes. When the power goes out my kuerig won"t heat and it also shoots all the water out in preheat mode. I"m talking empties the tank. I have unplugged it. Turned it off nothing helps the second I turn it back on it proceeds to pump all the water out whether the lid over the coffee is shut or not.

My Kuerig 2.0 has power you can see the power button if you push it it will not turn the power off or on reservoir light is not on and I"ve only had this machine approximately 2 1/2 years. How do I reset it or get the main screen working again properly

Read comments. Emptied reservoir, had paper bits in it,. Not sure where those came from. Washed reservoir with water until paper pieces were out. Filled it back up. It turned on, heated, and brewed. So glad to have found this site and that the solution worked. Had machine just a little over 16 months, this was my first problem with it.

Woke up this morning after a power outage and went to make a cup of coffee with my Kuerig 2.0. After 5 minutes on pre-heat, I began to worry I wasn"t going to get coffee. And we live 30 minutes from town!

My keurig would not work with a pod in it but would work without the pod. After much frustration I realized that the needle in the cup that the pods fit in was stopped up. I cleaned it out and it worked fine.

Happened upon your suggestion for resetting the constant not ready flashing on our keurig quite by chance...thought why not try...it was amazing!! We were ready to toss it...thank you so VERY MUCH!!!

Editor"s note: Bill, I"m just the guy who writes and publishes this website. I don"t manufacture or sell Keurig brewers. ; ) You should reach out to Keurig Customer support. Nick

my Keurig coffee maker has a add water light that stays on , so it makes it unable to brew my coffee .bought it in November. called the company and they are sending me another water container .don"t know what the water container has to do with it. but i,am not going to kick it before I get it.

Keurig coffee maker is a piece of junk. we have always used filtered water. lasted 6 months. PIECE OF JUNK DONT THROW YOUR MONEY AWAY. Going back to our Bunn.

Machine we"ve had for two years started showing "not ready" on menu and did nothing else. Completely unresponsive. Had tried several things that didn"t help, but I read here about holding down the menu button and three other buttons at the same time. That shut the machine off and when I turned it back on, it was back to normal.

I got my Keurig from a friend when he bought a newer version. It was working fine, the screen was a bit leggy, but now the screen has the small power button and it"s lagged. It won"t brew anymore and getting the screen to show anything but the lagged power button is a chore. Will customer support send me a new Keurig even though it wasn"t originally mine? Thanks!

I finally discovered the correct solution! Inside the water reservoir, at the bottom, resides a large black plastic bushing / screen assembly which is attached with three small screws. Guys, get your gal with small hands to help...space is very small! Remove the three screws and remove the bushing. The bushing has a sealed screen which I scrubbed with enthusiasm with a small fingernail brush. Once I rinsed the screen thoroughly and had 100% water flow through the screen, I reinstalled the bushing / screen assembly with the three screws.

My 1 week old keurig 2.0 only brewed ONE cup of coffee, and hasn"t worked since! we have done everything possible, from utube suggestions, to all keurig maintenance/cleaning. Hot water runs through perfectly, but, when we place the (keuring brand) pod in, message comes up at half a cup: "brewing interrupted, water under pressure, perform needle maintenance", and coffee grounds are EVERYWHYERE! we"ve cleaned the machine 10 times, as well as paper clip in needle (and unplugging and waiting) turning upside down and a gentle tap, nothing works!! hot water runs through with no coffee grounds!! but will NOT brew the 12 oz option. the 10 oz option has coffee grounds in it, and you can see the coffee spilling through around not just thro the needle!!please help???

My keurig 2.0 will not brew the 12 oz cup, keeps saying : brewing interrupted, water under pressure, perform needle maintenance. we have done everything possible, all the cleanings, everything with paperclips, to using cleaning device, to turning machine upside down. Hot water comes through perfectly, a 12 oz cup of it, but, when trying with the coffee pod, message reads " under pressure" when you try to brew the 12 cup setting, and coffee grounds are everywhere! before calling customer service, hoping someone has a tip??

This worked with a K40. It may apply to other models. Symptoms: Brewer would overhead. Little water would sputter out. Tried the other fixes here to no avail. I noticed the screen in the bottom of the reservoir was not perfectly clear. I removed the screen by backing out the three screws (#2 Phillips worked), back flushed the screen under the faucet, then reinstalled the filter. It has worked perfectly since.

The main reason people have so much trouble with these machines clogging is because the cups are pressurized with nitrogen to keep the coffee fresh. If you just drop a cup in and close the unit, the pressure forces the finely ground coffee up into the upper needle. Then when the grounds get wet, they swell and clog the needle. To stop this, just press the cup down until the bottom needle punctures the cup and relieves the pressure before you close the handle. You will never have to clean the needle again. All this voodoo of slapping and tilting will not fix the rusted air vent solenoids. They need to be replaced.

Thanks for the pointer. My B60 was locked in flashing "not ready". Turned it upside down and "burped" it (one persons bitch slap is another"s burp). Set it back up and held 3 cup size a menu button simultaniously an the not ready went out. Released all buttons and powered unit up normally. Works great. Btw, this unit is 3.5 years old. First problem.

The brewer won"t btew. Just stopped arter a few frunts. Mived to different outlets - same thing. Moved to different house - now nothing. No power. Cuisenart nest to it works fine. Called Kuerig. No help. Out of warranty at a year and a half. This thing was hardly used. They really suck.

After two days of just a blank white screen and being frustrated I tried the tips here - I unplugged it, took the reservoir tank off, turned it upset down and shook it, moved the kuerig to another outlet and plugged it in and it works!! Thanks for the tips!!!

The problem, as noted by others, is that it"s plugged with coffee grounds. The solution is all you have read here (paper clip, bank on it, etc) plus whatever else it takes to unplug it. I used the paper clip AND then held it under the kitchen faucet upside down and back flushed it profusely with water to get mine cleared. Works fine again.

Mine was flashing "not ready" so I gave it the turn upside down along with the bitch slap( not sure I needed to do that, but did it for fun) held down the three brew buttons along with the menu button and woohoo IT WORKS!!

Had guests over and the thing gets clogged and spits grounds everywhere, on the wall even!! Cleaned, descaled, twice and can"t get a single cup of coffee out of it without it spitting up grounds. Customer Service not helpful at all. Expensive piece of junk. Mr Coffee is at least dependable, never Keurig again!

I was on a brief hold, gave name, email and serial # of machine. The lady asked me to unplug it, lay it on its back, and insert a paper clip in the hole on either side of pin that punctures the cup. Within 5 minutes, was drinking my coffee! I understand that everyone may not have an easy fix like this, but strongly encourage you to try - very pleasant customer service and very happy to have my coffee machine in working order!

Very disappointed with Keurig.Called help line, went through all steps & still not working, said out of warranty & could sell me a new one at a reduced price. This is my 3rd Keurig so think its time to move on to a different brand...all piece of junk.

Wanda, our refillable pods work great for us, too. We now have two 2.0 brewers, one at home (a 550) and one for our motorhome (a 250). We do have issues with K-Carafe cups and have to lift the "arm" and close it then run the cycle again for 2-3 cups (instead of 3-4 or 4-5). That usually works. The single cups always work for us, no problems there. If you have the orange "maintenance accessory" you should use that a couple of times to "clean out the pipes". We use that tool every month or two to keep things running well.

We had to replace the first one as it would not heat. The second one has been a constant pain. Never would get an accurate measure and now it will not heat up and only dribbles little bits of liquid.

Thank you, Snowmobile! Your method of cleaning the top piercing area with a paperclip not only made it work again but it once again performs quickly. Before it was just dribbling out. Thanks for saving me money!

I have only had my keurig for 2 months and now it won"t work. I get the message "sorry brew interrupted water under pressure . To reset remove pod and lower handle . Preform needle maintanace if persists". Help please.

I could not turn the power on as our touch screen was not responding. Read through thread below and found posting in January 2016 by Chuckles. Tried lifting handle with touchscreen slightly, then all the way, then midway and no response. So then decided to remove lower carriage which holds the K-cups. Don"t ask me why or how, but that seemingly did the trick (defies logic, but worked). With the lower carriage out, the power button and (entire touch screen returned to normal). Don"t know how long it will work, but for now, glad to have machine functional again.

I have the k450 and have the white screen. It was purchased October 2015. Unit does nothing. I tried all of the comments listed with no luck. I called customer service. They are sending me a new unit. Apologized for the issues. Very pleased with customer service.

My new model sucks. The pump is very loud and the electronics are iffy. Started by not stopping and filling 3 cups everytime I tried to brew a cup. Next, looked like it had a prostate problem and would trickle.forever. Finally it quit last week. Had to did up my senseo and use old pods I still had. Finally, after reading this colum, I decided to empty it, clean the needle with a toothpick and got medieval on it. it worked. Got 3 cups of hot water with grounds in it but fianlly cleared up and working fine now. Who says corporal punishment does not work?

FINALLY FIXED!!! We had a power outage and the next day the machine said preheating and wouldn"t work. What we did was take out the rubber seal around the second needle(further in). Once taken off, put machine upside down and drain all the water from the machine! Put rubber deal back on and let the watts the flow into the internal reservoir and allow machine to preheat the water. YES this worked and we have our machine working with no trouble!!!! Try it, it works!!!!

I have a 2.0 and only had a couple of months now. When I went to bed all lights on the it were working but this morning the lights were not on only the cirlce at the bottom of the screen and it would not do anything. I tried unplugging it, plugging it into a different outlet, still nothing. Help.

I have keurig elite that my husband bought me 3 years ago. I clean it every 6 months like book says. I also clean it how it says. But every time it clogs. Usually the paper clip works but not this time. I tried paper clip burping and straw. My father in law even used compressed air and still nothing. Am i missing something or is it trash? I only drink 1 may be 2 cups a day.

Im on my second keurig 300 coffee machine both of these were brand new.in both cases the power went out due to the weather and in both cases when it camecame back on the machine wont pump water.i cant afford to pay150 dollars for a new machine everytime the power goes out.

Received my Keurig 2.0 Model 300 for Christmas and only brew 1 cup Per day. It started off good, then all of a sudden it would spit out a little coffee and stop, now - nothing happens. I went thru all the steps (including the "bitch slap" described in a forum) to no avail.

I contacted Keurig this AM and after approximately 15 minutes of working with the Rep, I have a perfect working unit again AND most importantly, I believe we may have found out WHY the unit plugged so quickly. If your Keurig K-Cup shows a bulged top, "under pressure", do not simply close the lid to puncture the cup as this allows grounds to go into the upper spike. Instead, PRESS the K-Cup onto the Lower Spike, THEN close the lid, puncturing the upper tab.

Received my Keurig 2.0 Model 300 for Christmas and only brew 1 cup Per day. It started off good, then all of a sudden it would spit out a little coffee and stop, now - nothing happens. I have gone through all the steps identified on the Keurig site and on YouTube to no avail. Back to the Hot water and Carafe, where life was easier.

An update - the Eco Filter is still working flawlessly (see link below). Until Keurig fixes their problem (whatever it is), this is the best way to brew full carafes with the 2.0 machines. http://ow.ly/YmmDc

I just fixed my cuisinart SS-700 single serve brewer. It was flashing "NOT READY" I held Brew, Hot Water and Rinse. The cuisinart turned off. I turned it on, and voila, FIXED!!

For some time the LCD would not respond, after lifting top up and down several times it would start to respond, sometimes unplugging was needed as well. This morning same thing but when plugged back in just the power button was there and would not respond. This is where it gets weird...I lifted the top just enough to unlock the catch and the power button worked but LCD would not respond as usual...so i took pod out and LCD worked, so I started playing with the settings. Changed the wallpaper and changed the clock to analog...and it started brewing again, go figure. Not sure how permanent of fix this is but hopefully this will help others.

Hello ... we bought a "cheater" (the Eco Carafe) to see how it would work with our K550, the brewer that never seemed to be able to fill up a carafe. I am amazed with the results. Every time we use this device the brewer works flawlessly! I am starting to think that maybe the "problem" is the K Carafe Packs themselves ... not the brewer! Some work better than others, and this Eco Carafe cup has worked perfectly a dozen times so far. I recommend that you give it a try, especially if you are having problems with partially full carafes. Good luck!!

After reading the comment about slapping the machine I thought no way that worked. Well after trying everything else I thought what do I have to lose so I slapped the thing and it is working just fine ;) So thank you

I agree the Kerurig 2.0 is a piece of junk. Why do I have to use paper clip to clean it when I have only used it less than a dozen times in less than 2 months.. I have a Hamilton Beach Brewmaster that we use daily. My Keurig is used for company who prefer decaf or a special flavor. This is fourth Keurig--three were given as gifts. The older model before 2.0 Keurig, please listen to your customers. I will not be recommending Keurig in the future or buying another one of the nail all the problems are fix

I bought the keurig 2.0 about 6 months ago for my girl friend. She used it every night before going to work on third shift. Today she went to brew a cup of coffee and it sounded like it wanted to brew at the very beginning then it just stops. She tried really hard today to get it working but nothing. I was going to buy my daughter one for Christmas. I am soo glad i didnt. A lot of money for a peice of Junk! I have tried the slap and burp..paper clip..blowing into a straw..Nothing worked. Guess i will throw it out with the garbage..where it belongs. Live and learn!

Hit power button to turn on, it started the preheating process and while warming up it brews water and continues to run water through so it never heats up and then powers off. This is our 2nd kuerig sent us a 2nd one after 1st stopped working because it wouldn"t pump the water after having it for 2 wks. Unplugged and did the bang on the bottom but didn"t work.

I just received the keurig 2.0 for Christmas. I followed the directions and it just continues to say "filling" with a loading sign over and over until it just shuts off. What do I do?

My Keurig 2.0 is less than a year old. All of a sudden this Christmas week ( of course when I have family in town ), I"m having trouble with carafe setting. I put the carafe in place, put the pod in and it says, "Remove carafe.. wrong setting? I am putting carafe pods in, not sure why its not recognizing them? HELP!

I also struggled for months with the white-out display screen. I finally took the advice from others on this site and called customer service toll-free at 888-879-4627. A human answered after a few rings - no robot or menu selections to make. I explained the defect. She asked when it was purchased, which was 11 months ago. She explained that it was still under the 1 year warranty and the company would send me a brand new machine - same model. I only had to read the serial number and provide my street address and email address. No other hassles or proof. In 6 days, the new unit arrived and works great. She did mention that an email would come with instructions on how to return the K-Cup holder from the old machine which they wanted as proof of ownership, however, no email or instructions were ever received. I am very pleased with the way customer support handled this - couldn"t ask for a better experience. I presume that so many customers have reported the same defect that they have surrendered to just replacing the entire unit rather than trying to fix the broken one. So, now I have an 11 month-old machine to dispose of or try and repair the screen myself. I see this model on Amazon.com selling for $104 (used). Any suggestions on what to do with the old K300 machine?

Have a one year old Keurig and it won"t do anything this machine was very costly and it"s very disappointing to have it break when I barely use it except for holidays. I live on Social Security and I can"t afford a new one.

I am on my second 2.0. First one broke after a few days. Some issue with heating water. Kerrigan said it was defective & sent me a new one. I"ve had this new one about a month & it is a nightmare. It is constantly clogged despite cleaning it after every use. I clean using that orange water thing & running the hot water through with no Kcup, but every morning it so t brew again. I am ready to throw it out & get something else. I had an older, cheaper one that just needed an occasional descale. So much for what I thought was an upgrade. It"s a down grade & expensive mistake.

Hello, I have good news, of sorts, regarding my K550 2.0 brewer. We have found that by leaving the default setting at 3-4 cups whenever brewing a carafe, the device reliably fills the pot to the same point nearly every time (about 2 inches below the rim). We no longer attempt to brew a full pot (4-5 cups). Of course, the brewer ought to allow you to select the number of cups that you want, but as I have said earlier, this behavior demonstrates that Keurig has a firmware problem that they need to address. The only way to "fix" this problem for existing brewers will be to replace them with a new unit once the firmware problem has been solved. So, if you follow the steps I described in an earlier posting, but without changing the settings for the desired number of cups, you should get a reasonable amount of coffee in your carafe every time. Good luck!

We bought the 2.0 in August and have had troubles with the carafe actually brewing the entire carafe. I called customer service yesterday and she told me to shut the lid harder after I put the pod in. She did also send me some a pack of free k-cups for my troubles so I"m not complaining about the customer service :) But sure enough, I tried again this morning for the carafe and only got about 12 oz. Had to redo it 3 more times just to fill the carafe. My husband brewed his carafe a couple hours later and it did the same thing to him again. At least with the old Keurig we could reuse the Kcups to fit a travel mug. Now this 2.0 punctures a giant hole in the foil top and grounds drip into the mug. So done with the POS coffeemaker!

Started having problems with the touch screen this morning on my Keurig 2.0, wouldn"t respond to any touching. Unplugged it, and let it sit all day. The machine is only 10 months old. Plugged it back in this afternoon, hoping to reset the computer, but couldn"t get anything more than the power button in the lower right hand corner, which still didn"t respond. I called Customer Service, talked to Kayla. Nothing to troubleshoot, so she is sending me a brand new machine! Went out into the garage and dusted off the old Mr. Coffee for tomorrow morning...good thing my wife hadn"t thrown it out...

Bought the 2.0 for the carafe option. Used the four pods that came with the Keurig. Not once did it fill the carafe. Only about a cup. Phoned Keurig, they said it was faulty pods.Tried another pod from a new box, same result. Returned the Keurig to Costco, got a new one. First try on the carafe-only filled about 1 cup!!!

calling Keurig is a waste of time. Those young ladies cannot fix anything/. All they can do is to try to sell you a new unit. If your Keurig wont brew try the internet for help on detailed repairs which include detailed disassembly.

I am new to the Kuerig scene and had difficulty getting my brand new 2.0 to work. I was extremely frustrated and callsd customer service in a less than happy mood. Elyse was so patient and absolutely amazing . She figured out my k-cups has too much pressure and guided me thru to brewing my first cup. Excellent customer service and above and beyond patient with me. Tubal you so much Elyse you are awesome

I bought my first Keurig last Sept. After about two months use, I awoke one morning to water all over the counter and floor. I contacted Keurig and they sent me a replacement which was a 2.0. I did not even open the box for months afraid this one would not work. Finally in April 2015 I opened the box and started using the replacement Keurig. However, now this one is having a problem. I am the only coffee drinker in my family, so not high usuage. The brewer drips water a little at time and then stops. I have cleaned it. I think I am done with Keurig, too expensive and not made well at all. Keurig! If you are going to charge 100 plus for your brewers make them QUALITY, not junk! It is back to my reliable Mr. Coffee that is five years old and still going strong. Glad I kept it.

My Husband bought me the Keurig 2.0 for Christmas because our previous one died. However the LED screen has gone out on my new one!!!! Probably have made 6 cups of coffee total in it. Will Keurig take it back??? Turning to winter gonna need coffee and hot chocolate!

I read through all the comments here about unplugging your machine, turning in upside down, whacking it a few times and plugging it back again. Not sure why this technique works, but it does. Enjoying out coffee once again and hard laughs.

My Keurig 2.0 is brand new and will not brew more than 12 ounces of undrinkable coffee when using a carafe cup and following directions. It"s the very reason I bought the unit in the first place. Any thoughts?

the please wait do not lift message won"t go away after its done brewing, just drips water. I"ve had this for only a month... Only way to brew a second cup is my unplugging and plugging back in. Help please

Well, add me to the list--I have had this piece of crap for only 19 months. I have descaled and I ran vinegar through it and nothing. I am totally disappointed with this coffeemaker. I will never purchase another Keurig or anything related to this company.
