empyrion lcd screen codes manufacturer
I"ve been looking around and done a few searches on the forum and general ones with search engines but I can"t a find a good resource for learning tips and tricks when programming displays on the LCD screens. Any suggestions where to find this sort of thing?
What I have already picked up is how to set different fonts, rather than just one consistent font, for onscreen text and such, really only very very basic stuff. What I would like to learn is how to things like display variable information like container item quantities or even vessel stats (speed, direction, fuel level, etal.).
The actual LCD Screen block is made in the constructor. Do you mean the text in the LCD Screen? The text is basic Ascii (in Ariel font) including the special characters and you can use the Windows Character Map application to find the special characters.
You can cut & paste the special characters into a Word document and arrange your text. When you are satisfied with the text block, copy it, then paste(CTRL+V) it into the LCD text input.
Empyrion Notices is the successor to Death Messages. Rewriting the mod allowed me to setup a framework that will allow for more user options and room for expansion. Since this is the first version, feedback will be greatly appreciated.

Alpha 5.2 has been released for Empyrion. In addition to some new content, the developers have chosen to tweak graphics with this update. Players can now look forward to beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Besides the sun lighting effects, the water has also been adjusted. So in addition to awesome sun lighting effects, your beaches are now more majestic. On top of these two major changes, we"re also seeing an update to the transition between textures. It is now much smoother and more fluid, and should be noticed almost immediately.

Look for the "Progenitor Tips" switch in the P Menu. It brings up an LCD display visible in first person, that provides helpful tips in Progenitor space. It also turns on a large LCD in the front of the ship that shows the Progenitor Interface codes. The interface codes are listed in clockwise order, but where you start in that order will vary based on how you approach.

- Updated the Default CREATIVE Scenario ORBITAL BASE start with an all new Starter Base that now offers all the necessary info to get started with building and creating awesome stuff in Empyrion. The Base also has a goodie spawned nearby to toy around with.
