This is the new SainSmart MEGA2560 R3. In addition to all the features of the previous board, the MEGA now uses an ATMega16U2 instead of the ATMega8U2 chip. I have a 2.8 screen and I had to use a vendor image of raspbian (kernel pre-compiled version with the screen drivers) to get any image on the screen, else you’ll just see a white screen.
