Second, it should be said that this little 5-inch monitor is a mechanically handsome contraption ---- very simple and direct in its shape and overall function ---- or to put it another way, it actually is kind of cute.

BUT, third, the user interface on this little 5-inch monitor is just AWFUL, and it really doesn"t help that the so-called instructions are so completely USELESS ---- the instructions are printed on a single, tiny piece of folded up paper, and they are "written" in broken, nonsensical English ---- honestly, the instructions are a word salad with a cup of alphabet soup ---- just throw them away.

Finally I tried a generic 486 computer. This mostly worked, the resolution was fine and readable, except that there were strange blurring effects that would only be resolved by power cycling the display. If I switched programs and it redrew the screen in a different mode, the effect would return and I had to power cycle the display again. Not ideal.

Just obtained and configured the Eyoyo 8"Inch TFT LCD HD Monitor from Amazon.com for $69.99 USD. Connectivity options and image quality are much better than expected for this price. Instructions are marginally informative and poorly written but I was able to discern how to navigate the On Screen Menu with the front buttons through trial and error.
