Every aspect of the light imaging system in Pro Display XDR is crucial to the overall quality of what you see onscreen. Each element builds on top of the last to create a display with unbelievable brightness and contrast.

Typical LCDs are edge-lit by a strip of white LEDs. The 2D backlighting system in Pro Display XDR is unlike any other. It uses a superbright array of 576 blue LEDs that allows for unmatched light control compared with white LEDs. Twelve controllers rapidly modulate each LED so that areas of the screen can be incredibly bright while other areas are incredibly dark. All of this produces an extraordinary contrast that’s the foundation for XDR.

For even greater control of light, each LED is treated with a reflective layer, a highly customized lens, and a geometrically optimized reflector that are all unique to Pro Display XDR. Through a pioneering design, light is reflected, mixed, and shaped between two layers to minimize blooming and provide uniform lighting.

Converting blue light to white is a difficult process that requires extremely precise color conversion. It’s why most display makers use white LEDs. Pro Display XDR accomplishes this conversion with an expertly designed color transformation sheet made of hundreds of layers that control the light spectrum passing through them.

With a massive amount of processing power, the timing controller (TCON) chip utilizes an algorithm specifically created to analyze and reproduce images. It controls LEDs at over 10 times the refresh rate of the LCD itself, reducing latency and blooming. It’s capable of multiple refresh rates for amazingly smooth playback. Managing both the LED array and LCD pixels, the TCON precisely directs light and color to bring your work to life with stunning accuracy.

If you’ve ever begun searching for a new computer screen, chances are you’ve probably come across the term IPS. It’s at this point that you may be asking yourself, what is an IPS monitor? And how do I know if an IPS monitor is right for me?

So, why is this important? A monitor’s panel technology is important because it affects what the monitor can do and for which uses it is best suited. Each of the monitor panel types listed above offer their own distinctive benefits and drawbacks.

Choosing which type of monitor panel type to buy will depend largely on your intended usage and personal preference. After all, gamers, graphic designers, and office workers all have different requirements. Specific types of displays are best suited for different usage scenarios.

The reason for this is because none of the different monitor panel types as they are today can be classified as “outstanding” for all of the attributes mentioned above.

Below we’ll take a look at how IPS, TN, and VA monitors affect screen performance and do some handy summaries of strengths, weaknesses, and best-case uses for each type of panel technology.

IPS monitors or “In-Plane Switching” monitors, leverage liquid crystals aligned in parallel to produce rich colors. IPS panels are defined by the shifting patterns of their liquid crystals. These monitors were designed to overcome the limitations of TN panels. The liquid crystal’s ability to shift horizontally creates better viewing angles.

IPS monitors continue to be the display technology of choice for users that want color accuracy and consistency. IPS monitors are really great when it comes to color performance and super-wide viewing angles. The expansive viewing angles provided by IPS monitors help to deliver outstanding color when being viewed from different angles. One major differentiator between IPS monitors and TN monitors is that colors on an IPS monitor won’t shift when being viewed at an angle as drastically as they do on a TN monitor.

IPS monitor variations include S-IPS, H-IPS, e-IPS and P-IPS, and PLS (Plane-to-Line Switching), the latter being the latest iteration. Since these variations are all quite similar, they are all collectively referred to as “IPS-type” panels. They all claim to deliver the major benefits associated with IPS monitors – great color and ultra-wide viewing angles.

When it comes to color accuracy, IPS monitors surpass the performance of TN and VA monitors with ease. While latest-gen VA technologies offer comparative performance specs, pro users still claim that IPS monitors reign supreme in this regard.

In the past, response time and contrast were the initial weakness of IPS technology. Nowadays, however, IPS monitor response times have advanced to the point where they are even capable of satisfying gamers, thus resulting in a rising popularity in IPS monitors for gaming.

With regard to gaming, some criticisms IPS monitors include more visible motion blur coming as a result of slower response times, however the impact of motion blur will vary from user to user. In fact, mixed opinions about the “drawbacks” of IPS monitor for gaming can be found all across the web. Take this excerpt from one gaming technology writer for example: “As for pixel response, opinions vary. I personally think IPS panels are quick enough for almost all gaming. If your gaming life is absolutely and exclusively about hair-trigger shooters, OK, you’ll want the fastest response, lowest latency LCD monitor. And that means TN. For the rest of us, and certainly for those who place even a modicum of importance on the visual spectacle of games, I reckon IPS is clearly the best panel technology.” Read the full article here.

IPS monitors deliver ultra-wide 178-degree vertical and horizontal viewing angles. Graphic designers, CAD engineers, pro photographers, and video editors will benefit from using an IPS monitor. Many value the color benefits of IPS monitors and tech advances have improved IPS panel speed, contrast, and resolution. IPS monitors are more attractive than ever for general desktop work as well as many types of gaming. They’re even versatile enough to be used in different monitor styles, so if you’ve ever compared an ultrawide vs. dual monitor setup or considered the benefits of curved vs. flat monitors, chances are you’ve already come into contact with an IPS panel.

TN monitors, or “Twisted Nematic” monitors, are the oldest LCD panel types around. TN panels cost less than their IPS and VA counterparts and are a popular mainstream display technology for desktop and laptop displays.

Despite their lower perceived value, TN-based displays are the panel type preferred by competitive gamers. The reason for this is because TN panels can achieve a rapid response time and the fastest refresh rates on the market (like this 240Hz eSports monitor). To this effect, TN monitors are able to reduce blurring and screen tearing in fast-paced games when compared to an IPS or VA panel.

On the flip side, however, TN panel technology tends to be ill-suited for applications that benefit from wider viewing angles, higher contrast ratios, and better color accuracy. That being said, LED technology has helped shift the perspective and today’s LED-backlit TN models offer higher brightness along with better blacks and higher contrast ratios.

The greatest constraint of TN panel technology, however, is a narrower viewing angle as TN monitors experience more color shifting than other types of panels when being viewed at an angle.

Today’s maximum possible viewing angles are 178 degrees both horizontally and vertically (178º/178º), yet TN panels are limited to viewing angles of approximately 170 degrees horizontal and 160 degrees vertical (170º /160º).

In fact, TN monitor can sometimes be easily identified by the color distortion and contrast shifting that’s visible at the edges of the screen. As screen sizes increase, this issue becomes even more apparent as reduced color performance can even begin to be seen when viewing the screen from a dead-center position.

For general-purpose use, these shifts in color and contrast are often irrelevant and fade from conscious perception. However, this color variability makes TN monitors a poor choice for color-critical work like graphic design and photo editing. Graphic designers and other color-conscious users should also avoid TN displays due to their more limited range of color display compared to the other technologies.

TN monitors are the least expensive panel technology, making them ideal for cost-conscious businesses and consumers. In addition, TN monitors enjoy unmatched popularity with competitive gamers and other users who seek rapid graphics display.

Vertical alignment (VA) panel technology was developed to improve upon the drawbacks of TN. Current VA-based monitors offer muchhigher contrast, better color reproduction, and wider viewing angles than TN panels. Variations you may see include P-MVA, S-MVA, and AMVA (Advanced MVA).

These high-end VA-type monitors rival IPS monitors as the best panel technology for professional-level color-critical applications. One of the standout features of VA technology is that it is particularly good at blocking light from the backlight when it’s not needed. This enables VA panels to display deeper blacks and static contrast ratios of up to several times higher than the other LCD technologies. The benefit of this is that VA monitors with high contrast ratios can deliver intense blacks and richer colors.

Contrast ratio is the measured difference between the darkest blacks and the brightest whites a monitor can produce. This measurement provides information about the amount of grayscale detail a monitor will deliver. The higher the contrast ratio, the more visible detail.

These monitors also provide more visible details in shadows and highlights, making them ideal for enjoying videos and movies. They’re also a good fit for games focused on rich imagery (RPG games for example) rather than rapid speed (such as FPS games).

MVA and other recent VA technologies offer the highest static contrast ratios of any panel technology. This allows for an outstanding visual experience for movie enthusiasts and other users seeking depth of detail. Higher-end, feature-rich MVA displays offer the consistent, authentic color representation needed by graphic designers and other pro users.

There is another type of panel technology that differs from the monitor types discussed above and that is OLED or “Organic Light Emitting Diode” technology. OLEDs differ from LCDs because they use positively/negatively charged ions to light up every pixel individually, while LCDs use a backlight, which can create an unwanted glow. OLEDs avoid screen glow (and create darker blacks) by not using a backlight. One of the drawbacks of OLED technology is that it is usually pricier than any of the other types of technology explained.

When it comes to choosing the right LCD panel technology, there is no single right answer. Each of the three primary technologies offers distinct strengths and weaknesses. Looking at different features and specs helps you identify which monitor best fits your needs.

With the lowest cost and fastest response times, TN monitors are great for general use and gaming. VA monitor offers a step up for general use. Maxed-out viewing angles and high contrast ratios make VA monitors great for watching movies and image-intensive gaming.

IPS monitors offer the greatest range of color-related features and remain the gold standard for photo editing and color-critical pro uses. Greater availability and lower prices make IPS monitors a great fit for anyone who values outstanding image quality.

LCD or “Liquid Crystal Display” is a type of monitor panel that embraces thin layers of liquid crystals sandwiched between two layers of filters and electrodes.

While CRT monitors used to fire electrons against glass surfaces, LCD monitors operate using backlights and liquid crystals. The LCD panel is a flat sheet of material that contains layers of filters, glass, electrodes, liquid crystals, and a backlight. Polarized light (meaning only half of it shines through) is directed towards a rectangular grid of liquid crystals and beamed through.

Liquid Crystals (LCs) are used because of their unique ability to maintain a parallel shape. Acting as both a solid and liquid, LCs are able to react quickly to changes in light patterns. The optical properties of LCs are activated by electric current, which is used to switch liquid crystals between phases. In turn, each pixel generates an RGB (red, green, blue) color based on the phase it’s in.

Note: When searching for monitors you can be sure to come across the term “LED Panel” at some point or another. An LED panel is an LCD screen with an LED – (Light Emitting Diode) – backlight. LEDs provide a brighter light source while using much less energy. They also have the ability to produce white color, in addition to traditional RGB color, and are the panel type used in HDR monitors.

Early LCD panels used passive-matrix technology and were criticized for blurry imagery. The reason for this is because quick image changes require liquid crystals to change phase quickly and passive matrix technology was limited in terms of how quickly liquid crystals could change phase.

As a result, active-matrix technology was invented and transistors (TFTs) began being used to help liquid crystals retain their charge and change phase more quickly.

Thanks to active-matrix technology, LCD monitor panels were able to change images very quickly and the technology began being used by newer LCD panels.

Ultimately, budget and feature preferences will determine the best fit for each user. Among the available monitors of each panel type there will also be a range of price points and feature sets. Additionally, overall quality may vary among manufacturers due to factors related to a display’s components, manufacturing, and design.

If you’re interested in learning more about IPS monitors, you can take a look at some of these professional monitors to see if they would be the right fit for you.

Alternatively, if you’re into gaming and are in the market for TN panel these gaming monitor options may be along the lines of what you’re looking for.

In September, area prices for all screen sizes up to 65” fell in a range from $92 to $106 per square meter, with the 65” area price tied with 32” for the lowest in the industry at $92 per square meter. The largest screen size in our survey, 75” panels, continues to have a premium but that premium has eroded steadily. In June 2022, a 75” panel was priced at $144 per square meter, a $41 or 40% premium over the 32” area price. By September, the 75” premium over 32” had dropped to $27 and 29%. While prices for 65” and smaller panels increased in October, 75” prices stayed flat, and we expect that pattern to continue through Q4 and Q1.

Throughout the many cycles in the industry, we have seen that the most commoditized screen size is 32”, because this screen size can be efficiently produced on every Gen size fab from Gen 6 through Gen 10.5. Thus, when prices go down, 32” prices go down fastest, but when prices increase, the 32” price increase fastest as well. This was true in October as 32” prices increased by $2 or 7% for the month; the area price increased from $92 per square meter in September to $99 in October.

The next chart shows our estimates of cash costs vs. panel prices for large TV panels. While 55” panels have been below cash costs for most of the year, 65” prices reached cash costs in Q2 and for the first time 75” panel prices fell below cash costs in Q3. We expect that 55” and 65” panel prices will increase in Q4 and Q1 2023 but will remain slightly below cash costs.

This is BOE as a panel manufacturer, as opposed to any specific monitor/display manufacturer, but it gives an indication of where monitors are likely to go in the future by looking ahead at the panel production plans. Please keep in mind that the production dates are not set in stone and may change, and there is then also a lag of several months before a panel is produced, then used in a display and launched to market. We have updated our panel parts database with all the new information we have as well as best we can.

A lot of the information we have focused on technology improvements in general, and there is less specific information about actual panels and their specs than we have from other manufacturers. We will try and summarise as best we can. BOE are focusing their panel development and investment on several key themes:

If you read our LG.Display update you will be familiar with “IPS Black”, their new technology for offering improved black depth, contrast ratio and off-angle viewing of dark content. LG.Display aren’t the only ones investing in development to improve the contrast ratio of IPS panels. BOE are also doing something similar with their ADS technology (IPS-type) and aim to offer contrast ratios of 2000:1 later this year through their so-called “True Black” technology.

There were plans to produce samples of new panels in 23.8″ and 27″ size with 2560 x 1440 resolutions during Q2 2022 which means these would hopefully be available for display manufacturers to explore for their monitors now. Then later on around Q3 2022 there would be 27″ and 31.5″ models with 3840 x 2160 “4K” resolutions. Finally, around Q4 2022 there are plans to produce a sample of a 34″ 3440 x 1440 resolution panel. It will be very interesting to see what improvement this new technology might bring.

One area BOE are developing is the use of a new “OQD” film (we believe this stands for Oxide Quantum Dot). They report that this has a few advantages over traditional QD coatings including being toxic element-free (QD contains Cd/Se apparently), has an improved light efficiency (~90% vs ~70%), no edge degradation and offers the same kind of benefits with wide colour gamut boosting it up to around 170% sRGB.

BOE should already have the first generation 1 panel in production now offering 99.5% coverage of DCI-P3 and Adobe RGB spaces, as well as 83% BT.2020. There is a 27″ sized panels (panel tech not listed but we expect this to be their ADS technology, IPS-type) with 3840 x 2160 “4K” resolution which features this OQD coating and the above mentioned colour space coverage. It has a 300 cd/m2 brightness and has been in mass production since Sept 2020.

Generation 2 options with HDR 600 supported included this time and further Eyesafe certification benefits (details unclear). There is already a 27″ 4K panel in production with 400 cd/m2 (no HDR 600 on this option), and plans for a 31.5″ 4K with HDR 600 in Q4 2022.

BOE also aim to boost this colour gamut a little further with generation 3, with coverage up to 90% BT.2020. They are planning a 31.5″ sized panel (tech not listed but again expected to be IPS-type) with 3840 x 2160 “4K” resolution and 500 cd/m2 brightness (SDR), and HDR 600 support. Production is now listed for Q2 2023.

Linked to the above OQD Film panels and perhaps most interesting is a planned 34″ ultrawide model with a 5120 x 2160 (WUHD) resolution. This will be a generation 2 OQD panel with 99.5% Adobe RGB and DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage and Eyesafe 8.0. This is expected to go in to production in Q1 2023.

There is also a suggestion that there may be another version of this panel with HDR600 support and a slightly smaller colour gamut of 98% DCI-P3. This version seems to be listed for Q4 2022 production.

BOE are also focusing on increasing the resolution of their monitor panels in line with what we see happening in video recording, streaming services and mobile/tablet devices. There are plans for several new panels.

31.5″ panel with a 7680 x 4320 resolution (280 PPI), 350 cd/m2 brightness (400 cd/m2 peak) and a wide colour gamut covering 99% DCI-P3 and Adobe RGB. This should now be in production as of Q2 2022.

27″ panel with 5120 x 2880 resolution (210 PPI), 350 cd/m2 brightness, HDR 600 support (600 cd/m2 peak), 98% DCI-P3 colour gamut. This is listed for Q4 2022 production.

31.5″ panel with 6034 x 3384 resolution (210 PPI), 350 cd/m2 brightness, HDR 600 support (600 cd/m2 peak), 98% DCI-P3 colour gamut. This is listed for Q1 2023 production.

The 34″ ultrawide panel discussed above as well, with 5120 x 2160 resolution (160 PPI), 400 cd/m2 brightness, HDR 600 support (600 cd/m2 peak), 98% DCI-P3 colour gamut. This is listed for Q4 2022 production.

BOE are also focusing on developing new panel options with more local dimming zones for improved HDR experiences in the desktop monitor space. There will be panels produced from 27″ all the way up to 44.5″ with local dimming zones startingfrom 1,152 and will all support HDR 1000. Unless otherwise stated, these are all IPS-type panels.

27″ with 2560 x 1440 resolution, 240Hz refresh rate, 99% DCI-P3 gamut – this will have 1152 dimming zones with 1152 LED’s and is scheduled for production from Sept 2022.

44.5″ curved ultrawide 1500R (VA-type) with 5120 x 1440 resolution (32:9 aspect ratio), 60Hz refresh rate, 95% DCI-P3 gamut – this will have 1152 dimming zones but with 4308 LED’s, and is scheduled for production from March 2023.

31.5″ panel with 3840 x 2160 4K resolution and 60Hz refresh rate and HDR 1400 support (all the others listed here are HDR 1000). This one would have 4608 dimming zones apparently but with a whopping 18,432 LED’s, and is planned for a possible Q3 2023 production.

31.5″ panel with 3840 x 2160 4K resolution and 240Hz refresh rate. This one would have 4608 dimming zones apparently (number of LED’s not listed but expected to be 18,432 like the panel above), and is planned for a possible Q4 2022 production start although it feels like this might well slip given the date for the 60Hz panel above.

31.5″ panel with 8K resolution and 60Hz refresh rate. This one would have “5K+” dimming zones apparently (number of LED’s not listed) and is planned for a possible H1 2023 production.

BOE are also focusing on new technologies to enhance the HDR experience further than Mini LED backlights, with even more finite control of the dimming zones and in an effort to compete with the ever-popular OLED technology in this space. One such development is in their BD Cell technology which they say will help work towards pixel-level dimming, has fast operating latency and will help reduce or eliminate halos and blooming on content.

While quite old now, the following comes from a May 2020 BOE press release talking about BD Cell usage for their 65″ panel which win a SID 2020 Display Industry award, telling us more about what this technology can offer:

As a breakthrough in thin-film transistor (TFT)-LCD technology, BOE’s dual-cell panel—referred to as “BD Cell” for short—offers several important technical advancements that conventional LCD screens don’t. The display uses pixel-level ultra-fine backlight control technology and a brand-new integrated circuit (IC) driving technology to make the million-level contrast ratio rate and 12 bits’ color depth come true, accurately displaying more natural and true-to-life colors. The contrast ratio of a conventional LCD screen is 3,000:1 with 0.2 nits as the lowest brightness. The BD Cell’s screen can raise the contrast ratio up to 150,000:1 and decreasing brightness to 0.003 nit. In terms of combining LED local dimming with BD Cell technology, the contrast ratio can be as high as 2,000,000:1. Moreover, while a conventional LCD screen’s color depth is 8 bit, BD Cell is capable of boosting the color depth as high as 12 bit with an enhanced IC driving algorithm. On the other hand, BD Cell incorporates advantages of an LCD screen’s stableness and technological maturity, with no image sticking.

31.5″ with 3840 x 2160 4K resolution – this is listed as a 1D backlight unit with “edge type” dimming. There is a 100,000:1 contrast ratio spec along with 99% DCI-P3 gamut, and the spec also implies perhaps 983K zones. It’s not 100% clear what this panel will offer with the limited info, more as we get it.

31.5″ with 3840 x 2160 4K resolution – this is listed as a 2D backlight unit with “direct type” dimming. Same 100,000:1 contrast ratio spec along with 99% DCI-P3 gamut as the other panel. This implies pixel-level dimming but again the information isn’t 100% clear at this stage.

BOE also have a focus on improving their panel options for gaming screens with their ADS (IPS-type) technology. Already in mass production are a range of panels in sizes of 23.8″, 27″, 31.5″, 29″ and 34″ with a range of high refresh rates up to 240Hz available.

BOE are also expanding their range of VA-type technology panels, with options planned from 23.8″ all the way up to 44.5″ in size. The models in development or in planning are:

44.5″ curved (1500R) ultrawide with 5120 x 1440 and 165Hz – Q4 2022 – this is different to the 44.5″ Mini LED panel discussed earlier as that had 60Hz only.

Aimed at improving productivity for general and office work, BOE are planning a new 28.2″ sized panel which has an unusual 3:2 aspect ratio. Designed to replace 2x 19.5″ sized panels, this has a 3840 x 2560 resolution. It also has a wide colour gamut with 98% DCI-P3 and 400 nits brightness. It should be in mass production now apparently.

There’s still a portion of the market who prefer 16:10 aspect ratio screens to common 16:9 offerings. This has commonly been in the 24″ space with 1920 x 1200 resolutions in 16:10 format offering a bit of a vertical boost compared with the common 1920 x 1080 resolutions of the 16:9 format. BOE are still investing in this area but there’s been a change in direction since our last update and rather than focusing on another 24″ panel, they are instead developing a 25.9″ sized panel with a 2560 x 1600 resolution (16:10 aspect ratio). This will offer 15.6% more screen area than a 24″ panel and still a decent 117 PPI. There is a 10-bit colour depth and wide 95% DCI-P3 / 99% Adobe RGB colour gamut listed too. No production dates are listed for this one.

With metrics such as ad recall, brand awareness, and consideration (rather than traditional metrics such as clicks, impressions, or views), Brand Lift can help you align your campaigns with your marketing goals. Brand Lift’s testing methodology and large sample size can provide you with detailed insights into how your campaigns influence the way people feel about your product or brand.

Multiple surveys can be created for different metrics to be shown to users at different times. The difference in responses between the two groups determines the influence your ads have on key brand metrics, such as ad recall, awareness, and consideration. For YouTube & partners line items, surveys continue as long as your insertion orders are running. For video line items, surveys continue for 28 days, or until enough survey responses are collected.

To detect the lift driven by eligible YouTube & partners line items, you need to meet the minimum budget requirements at the "Product" or "Brand" level. The sum of the budgets of all active campaigns that are measuring the product or the brand should meet the minimum budget requirements:

Note: Budget requirements shown here are in USD. Budget requirements will be adjusted in your account based on exchange rates and your account"s currency type.

The minimum budget required for the brand lift study will differ depending on the country. Each "Country" column in the "Brand Lift budgeting" table above shows the minimum budget needed to measure results for that country. Click a section below to see the countries that fall under "Country A", "Country B", and "Country C" in the "Brand Lift budgeting" table.

Some countries on the list may not be currently eligible for YouTube monetization. While it"s possible for video campaigns to serve in countries that don"t support YouTube monetization, it"s not guaranteed that the campaigns will serve. If your campaign doesn"t serve (or doesn"t meet the minimum budget required for the brand lift study), and you"ve included the campaign in your brand lift study, your brand lift study may fail.

Brand Lift is measured continuously throughout your insertion order’s flight. If you meet the above budget requirements, Display & Video 360 will aim to measure 2.0% detectable absolute lift at the product / brand level for each metric (recall, awareness, etc) each week. Otherwise you’ll see a message that lift is too small to detect.

This resolution is by default at the product/brand level. For insertion-order-level resolution, each insertion order must be associated with its own product/brand, and meet the budget requirements.

Video Brand Lift is measured as a snapshot, meaning that surveys stop after reaching resolution. For the best chance of detecting lift driven by video line items, the sum of all video active line items within a product or brand should meet the $15,000 minimum budget per question.

Budget eligibility is calculated based on Display & Video 360"s two-level budget system. Only active insertion orders and line items are considered in budget calculations. Geographies of paused line items are taken into account for the minimum daily budget.

Insertion order budget segments, calculating the daily budget as the total budget segment for the insertion order"s flight divided by the number of days; and

For example, assume the required budget is $2 per day, and there is one insertion order with one line item in the product / brand. If the insertion order daily budget is $1 per day and the line item daily budget is $3 per day, then the effective daily budget is the lower of the two, $1 per day. Since $1 per day is below the minimum required budget of $2 per day, the product or brand would be ineligible.

Non-experimental languages available in the study setup are fully supported. Experimental languages can be selected, but results quality is still being analyzed.

Brand Lift surveys must comply with our Ads Policies and Program Policies, and you can"t collect viewer feedback on sensitive topics. In addition, Alcohol, Gambling, Health, Gaming, Pharmacy, and Politics are not currently supported.

Select all insertion orders that advertise the same product or brand. To get results for each insertion order, associate each insertion order with its own product or brand.

Language: This should most likely be the language of the ads associated with your line items used for the product / brand. If you have ads in multiple languages, you may want to create multiple products or brands, one for each language, and associate them with their corresponding ads. Results quality for experimental languages is still being tested for Video.

Your Brand Lift measurement will start running automatically as your line items start serving. Note that for video line items, studies need to be set up before any impressions serve. To learn more about Brand Lift measurement reporting, see Understand your Brand Lift measurement data.

If you remove an insertion order, lift measurement for that insertion order will stop as a result. Depending on the eligibility of remaining insertion orders, the product/brand may also stop measuring. Responses and results collected up until the time of removal will still be available for that insertion order, but they won’t count towards the product/brand reporting.

When creating questions for Brand Lift surveys, include as much detail as possible . You’ll select your question types (up to 3) and answer choices, which should include your advertiser product or brand. Make sure the spelling is correct for your answer choices to avoid survey rejections.

As part of creating your product or brand, you"ll create survey questions. The object type and intended action customize the wording of your question. These default to "Generic," but choose more specific options when possible. For example, if you’re a car advertiser creating a Purchase Intent question, you would pick:

To accurately compare YouTube and Video results, set the date range selector to a predefined time period when both were collecting responses. Custom date ranges are not currently supported.

The monitoris an output display device in desktop PC that typically comes with a thin film transistor liquid crystal display (TFT-LCD) but presently its display technology is advanced to LED backlighting. Initially, the function of the monitor was restricted to output for data processing but from the year 1980, it also includes entertainment. The most popular LED and LCD monitors are available when you browse a variety of computer monitors. You will also find specifically designed curved, gaming, touch, and ultra-wide, 4K Monitors in various sizes. Star Tech offers the most popular brands such as Hp, Acer, Dell, Phillips, Benq, LG, Samsung, and Asus etc. Whether you"re a student, freelancer, content creator or designer, you can choose your monitor wisely to get maximum performance.

Monitors can be classified by type based on some features and mechanisms. There are different types of Monitors available in the market. The most common monitors are:

Liquid crystal displays, or LCDs, are what the acronym stands for.LCD monitors can have excellent resolutions and excellent color and image quality. However, they have a slow refresh rate and perhaps a slow response time.

An LED stands for a light-emitting diode. The color and image quality of LED displays, also known as LED-backlit monitors, are excellent, but their response times are poor. They are therefore suitable for activities like gaming or rendering that need precise motions.

The gaming monitor usually has a higher refresh rate which is one of the most differences between the other monitors. The purpose of gaming monitors is to maximize the visual quality of the graphics card and CPU output. They are in charge of showing the end result of all of your computer"s picture rendering and processing, yet their depiction of color, motion, and image sharpness.

The most recent in monitor technology, curved monitors can be pricey. Curved monitors are becoming more and more common among gamers, Video Editors, Content Creators, and programmers. Curved monitors are now used by the majority of professionals in the workforce.

Touching a touch screen display allows you to interact with it. This function allows users to interact with the computer using a finger or stylus instead of using a mouse or keyboard. Compared to standard computer monitors, touch screens can provide more functionality.

A standard 34-inch ultrawide display has a 3,440 x 1,440 resolution. Contrast this with a normal 2,560 x 1,440-pixel 27-inch business display. You gain 880 pixels horizontally, for a total increase of nearly 1.3 million pixels. Additionally, it"s ideal for using two or more windows simultaneously.

If you are planning to purchase a monitorfor your daily use or office work or gaming, you can consider some key features of a modern monitor. Gamers should emphasize rapid refresh rates and quick response times, professionals should focus on color fidelity, and regular users have less precise criteria yet frequently select for a VA panel. However, you should also consider the following factors when choosing a monitor.

Small monitors, 22 inches or less, are used for basic computing when money and space are tight. 23- to 24-inch monitors are a good size for most workstations and needs. Also small enough to double with a two-screen workstation for affordable multi-screen flexibility. Many professionals choose 25- to 29-inch 4K displays for superior clarity and color representation. Larger screens have additional capabilities that help people who stare at the monitor for lengthy durations (see below for a discussion of these features).Widescreen monitors over 40" have a different aspect ratio than regular displays. The selection of outstanding 30-inch and larger monitors grows. One ultra-widescreen monitor can replace two smaller ones without interrupting the display.

A display"s refresh rate describes how many times it can draw a new image per second. It is measured in hertz (Hz). For example, if your display has a 144Hz refresh rate, the image refreshes 144 times per second. Larger values mean better, smoother images. Refresh rate is especially important for gamers, who will want a monitor with at least 75Hz (most monitors are designed to offer at least 120Hz gaming), combined with the lowest response time you can find. If you"re not gaming, a 60Hz refresh rate should work. if you want, you can choose a monitor with a maximum refresh rate of 360.

Shorter response times are preferable, but not crucial unless you"re gaming. Response time measures how long it takes a display to convert pixels from black to white or from one shade of gray to another. Longer response times can cause motion blur in games and films.
