NZXT is allowing attention-seeking enthusiasts to do just that with its new RGB all-in-one Kraken Z-3 liquid cooler series. The lineup, which comprises the Z63 (280 mm) and Z73 (360 mm), features LCD screens that can be used to not only display vital system health data, but animated GIFs as well.

The visual customization is powered by NZXT’s PC monitoring solution, NZXT CAM. This is a free program that serves as the control hub for the company’s various products and their functions, such as lighting and fan speeds. Users can also track their system status (e.g., performance, temperatures) through the app, or even during games with an in-game overlay.

Additionally, NZXT has refreshed its LCD-less (but still capable) Kraken X-3 series. The RGB infinity mirror design has been improved with a larger ring, which can be rotated to ensure proper orientation of the logo. It also features a built-in channel for adding other NZXT RGB products.

The Kraken X-3 and Z-3 series are available now on NZXT’s web store. In terms of compatibility, they’re designed to work with “mainstream CPU sockets, such as Intel’s LGA 1151 and AMD’s AM4.”

The NZXT Kraken X53 is the successor to our longtime favorite NZXT Kraken X52 that features some major improvements to look better and cool more efficiently. (We"ve seen this cooler easily keep an Intel Core i7-9700K running at full tilt, well under 50-degrees Celsius.) It’s available in 120mm, 240mm, and 360mm.

If you need the biggest, most powerful liquid cooling unit, look no further. The Corsair iCUE H150i Elite LCD has a large, 360mm radiator to handle the hottest CPUs and the highest overclock speeds. The Corsair ML RGB Elite fans can adjust to higher or lower levels, according to the moment’s cooling needs.

As far as lighting, the fans’ RGB lighting can also be adjusted with Corsair’s iCUE software, but the unit really raises the bar with the pump’s 2.1-inch IPS LCD display. It has 8-bit color depth for millions of color options. The display can show visual effects, and even GIFs or memes, all at 30fps (and, of course, it can display handy system performance data, like your CPU temperature).

Leading developer of software-powered hardware solutions for PC gamers, NZXT, has launched two series of AiO liquid coolers; the new Kraken X-3 and Z-3 Series. The Kraken X-3 Series is sold with three radiator options (240mm, 280mm, and 360mm) and has received a boost to the "iconic RGB infinity mirror design," with a larger and brighter ring. NZXT"s premium Kraken Z-3 Series (in 280mm and 360mm configurations) includes a snazzy customisable 2.36-inch (60mm) LCD screen.

The cooler technology uses Asetek"s newest and most advanced 7th gen "all-new performance engineered pump," for excellent cooling and quiet operation, at up to 800rpm. With the performance side of the equation taken care of, the new designs offer flexibility over the radiator size you can fit, and the frills your can enjoy. NZXT says that both the new AiO series offer easier installation with reinforced extended tubing (400mm).

As mentioned briefly in the intro, the Kraken X-3 Series uses NZXT"s RGB infinity mirror design with an enlarged, brighter ring. Furthermore, its upgraded cap is rotatable, which is good for positioning. Last but not least, an NZXT RGB channel is built-in to allow for the easy addition of any NZXT RGB products, such as AER RGB 2 fans.

NZXT"s Kraken Z-3 Series, with its 24-bit colour LCD screen can display various useful system health data, as well as an animated GIF of your choice. You will use NZXT CAM to control pump and lighting effects on this and the X-3 Series. CAM is also useful to sync lighting with other RGB PC components you might have.

Do you need to have a gif running on your AIO while it cools your CPU? Heck no. But if you feel like treating yourself by being able to customize your build to the fullest extent I think the NZXT Kraken Z73 is a piece of tech you should be looking at. While it may do the same thing as every other AIO at x2-3 the cost, it is the only one on the market that I am aware of that allows you to easily add a gif or image to the front of your AIO so that your PC build feels that much more custom and personable. I highly recommend this for anyone who feels like splurging and has the extra cash to dish out for a fun piece of tech, you won"t regret it.

As a side note as well the NZXT software you install on your computer to customize the LCD and monitor different settings is very clean and easy to maneuver through.
