Most so-called "passive" 3D TVs come with four pairs of passive polarized glasses, much like the ones used in theaters, which don"t require batteries. Additional sets cost from $10 to $30 each. You cannot use passive glasses with 3DTV that requires active glasses, and vice-versa. You also generally cannot mix active 3D glasses from one brand of TV with another"s, though TVs made in 2012 and later may share glasses. (Passive 3D glasses can be used interchangeably with any passive 3D TVs.) There are some "universal" active 3D glasses you can buy as an after-market item .

If your Toshiba TV won’t turn on you need to reset it. Unplug your TV and wait a full 60 seconds. While the TV is unplugged, press and hold the power button for 30 seconds. After the 60 seconds are up, plug your Toshiba TV back in and it should work.
While the TV is unplugged, find and hold the power button on your Toshiba TV for 30 seconds. Make sure you are holding the power button on your TV, and not your remote.

Bit depth is the number of bits used to indicate the color of a single pixel. The more bits, the more color range a panel displays. An 8-bit panel uses 256 levels per channel and displays 16.7 million colors, while a 10-bit one reaches 1024 and displays 1.07 billion colors.
I have a 50" Toshiba 4k Fire TV Edition. The LED lighting is working, sound is working as well but no image on the screen. I have tried to hold a flashlight to the front of the screen and I do not see any image what so ever. I"ve brought the menu option up and still do not see anything. I"ve checked the boards for possible burn marks or blown capacitors and everything seems just fine with no issues. After some testing these are results I am getting as far as the power board while TV is on.
There are various panel technologies. Each has its own specific features - viewing angles, color reproduction, response time, brightness/contrast, production cost, etc. The image quality depends directly on the type of the display panel used.VA
The most widely used panels are those with 6, 8, and 10 bits for each of the RGB components of the pixel. They provide 18-, 24-, and 30-bit color, respectively.10 bits (8 bits + FRC)
Frame Rate Control (FRC) is a method, which allows the pixels to show more color tones. With quick cyclic switching between different color tones, an illusion for a new intermediate color tone is created. For example, by using FRC, a 6-bit display panel is able to show 16.7 millioin colors, which are typical for 8-bit display panels, and not the standard 262200 colors, instead. There are different FRC algorithms.Yes
The maximum number of colors, which the display is able to reproduce, depends on the type of the panel in use and color enhancing technologies like FRC.1073741824 colors
