Touch laptops are popular because their touch displays make it faster and easier to interact with your computer -- whether you"re navigating the desktop, making selections in software programs, or just about anything else.

As a tablet, the display is sensitive to contact, either from the force of your touch or the flow of electrons from your fingertips. Each action requires just a simple touch or swipe, with no need to move or click a mouse or keyboard. Take a look. Every laptop featured on this page is available with a touch display!

And with Windows 10 preloaded on most models, the benefits of touch technology go even further thanks to this revolutionary operating system that"s fully optimized for intuitive touch input and browsing.

The advantages of touch technology on laptops go beyond user speed. Because their visuals are so important to their function, they often have better-than-average display technology (resolution, color, etc.).

Plus, touch models are ideal for work and creation using a stylus, from art projects to data entry and note-taking. And many Lenovo models pack in a pen as standard so that you can interact more precisely with your touch display.

Touch technology was once considered a luxury. Not any longer. Its benefits are plentiful, and today touch displays are a common companion of laptops across all the top manufacturers – Lenovo included.

In large part, this is because consumer demand for touch technology has grown alongside the evolution of modern operating systems, applications, and other software. It now makes more sense than ever to interact with your computer of choice through touch owing to how attuned to touch interaction most of us are – just think of how much time we spend browsing our phones with just the use of a single finger. Touch capability is now a natural and highly-expected technology for almost any electronic device that features a visual display.

As the technology behind touch displays has become more commonplace so have the prices come down. The low or high cost of your next laptop is most likely going to depend more on other features and components than touch. For example, a great touchscreen gaming laptop that"s equipped with a speedy Intel Core i5 processor, NVIDIA GeForce graphics card, 16GB of RAM, and Full High-definition (HD) display might run you between $1,400-1,600, but the same model without a touchscreen wouldn"t nudge the low end of that range any further down.

Lenovo Yoga 2 in 1 touchscreen laptop computers deliver a premium experience inside and out. With smooth exteriors that show off a slick style, along with top-tier components on the inside, Yoga convertible laptops have it all: Up to the latest Intel Core processor options, high-end graphics (including discrete graphics for top-tier gaming on select models), active pen compatibility, and a variety of usability modes, including a tablet mode that lets you flip your keyboard completely around to lay flush against the back of your laptop"s display – now you have the benefit of two devices in one.

Speaking of displays, one of the most important considerations when considering the best laptop for you is screen size. 15 inches is the sweet spot for most users. But many models also feature 14" displays that allow for a slimmer profile and even easier haul. You"ll want to consider the pros and cons of each available size: more screen real estate, or an overall slimmer and lighter device?

Affordable laptops don"t have to be cheap laptops. At Lenovo, we work to build a budget laptop lineup like no other manufacturer can offer – meaning no compromises combined with a comfortable price point.

For our current pick as the best under-500 touch laptop, shop IdeaPad 2 in 1 laptop featuring up to 15" touch displays, 4GB of RAM or more, and bold Full High Definition (FHD) visuals that allow for better working, creating, and streaming.

Or maybe you"re looking for an even better value? You"ve come this far, so why not save a couple hundred more? Consider our Lenovo Chromebook touch lineup to find many touchscreen laptops under 300. Chromebooks are built around the Google ecosystem, meaning that using a Chromebook is as easy and intuitive as swiping through a piece of fruit on your touchscreen Chromebook laptop display.

Each operating system offers different things. With a Lenovo Windows touchscreen laptop, you get a lot of flexibility, while Lenovo Chrome touchscreen laptops are incredibly intuitive. The best operating system all depends on your needs. We recommend Lenovo Chrome touchscreen laptops for activities like drawing and learning, while for activities like programming, we recommend a windows touch screen laptop.

A touchscreen laptop has a touchscreen display that isn"t detachable or flexible, while a 2-in-1 laptop is a hybrid between a regular laptop and a tablet. A 2-in-1 laptop can either be a detachable touch screen laptop or a foldable laptop with a flexible screen display. The hinges allow the screen to flip 180° from the keyboard to lay flat like a tablet.

Our ThinkPad, Chromebook, and IdeaPad lineups all feature some of the best touch screen laptop for drawing. However, the Lenovo ThinkPad is our current pick for the best touchscreen laptop for drawing. The ThinkPad delivers the bandwidth to create and draw with ease. With Intel Core processor options and high-end graphics, you can count on an exceptional drawing experience.

For kids in elementary school, we recommend a Lenovo Chromebook. They are highly intuitive, making them perfect for younger kids with developing minds. In addition, these laptops are affordable, durable, and have an extensive library of fun and educational apps that are constantly growing. For middle school and high school kids, we recommend the Lenovo IdeaPad or Lenovo Yoga 2 in 1 laptop. With the tip of a finger or a stylus, kids can perform a wide range of activities on these laptops such as drawing, jotting, and taking notes.

No, you don"t have to, but it is recommended to use one. The stylus pen is specially designed to operate a touchscreen with ease. If you are a designer, artist, or student, we recommend getting one. They allow you have control to write, jot and draw with precision and ease in a way you can"t with your fingers. Using a stylus pen will feel like holding an actual pen or paintbrush. We have a range of stylus pen for touch screen laptop that is designed to increase your accuracy and speed while creating art, studying, or working.

Yes, we do our Lenovo ThinkPad, Lenovo Legion, and Lenovo Ideapad, all feature 17-inch touch screen laptop. In addition, we have touchscreen laptops with screen sizes that range from 10 inches to more than 32 inches.

No, it is not difficult cleaning touch screen laptop. Here"s how to clean touch screen laptop; turn off your laptop, use a microfiber cloth to remove dust and smudges from the screen, clean stubborn smudges with eyeglass cleaner, and dry the screen with a microfiber cloth.

Though many people have found affordable a used touch screen laptop that works fine, buying a used laptop can be very risky. Many retailers will sell refurbished touch screen laptops initially shipped with some sort of defects, and you may end up with an inferior product and zero support when you try to get help. Getting a used laptop may seem like a cheaper option than getting a new one. However, the maintenance costs coupled with the potential of earlier replacement make the actual value of buying a used laptop far lower than you may realize. This is why we recommend buying a new laptop. If you are trying to save costs, we regularly offer deals on laptops.

Lenovo regularly offers many of our top touchscreen laptops on sale. Our laptop deals page serves as your doorway to a feast of savings available at any time and spanning our entire assortment of the latest and great Lenovo laptops – including those with touch technology.

A touchscreen laptop provides a number of benefits over a traditional laptop. Perhaps the most obvious benefit is the ability to interact directly with the screen. This can make tasks such as browsing the web or editing documents much more intuitive and efficient. Another benefit of touchscreen laptops is that they tend to be more portable and lightweight than traditional laptops. This makes them ideal for use on the go, whether you"re traveling for business or pleasure. Finally, touchscreen laptops often come equipped with features that make them perfect for creative professionals. For example, many models come with built-in styluses that allow for precise drawing and painting. If you"re looking for a laptop that can help you unleash your creativity, a touchscreen model is definitely worth considering.

If you"re looking for a touchscreen laptop that"s also good for gaming, there are a few things you"ll want to keep in mind. First, touchscreen laptops tend to be more expensive than traditional laptops. Second, touchscreen laptops usually have lower-end hardware compared to dedicated gaming laptops. This means that if you"re looking for the best possible gaming performance, a touchscreen laptop is not going to be your best option. Third, touchscreen laptops can be more difficult to game on because of their glossy screens and smaller size. If you don"t mind these potential drawbacks, then a touchscreen laptop could be an option for you.

fhd vs lcd touch screen lenovo in stock

Ghost Touch, Running Touch, No-Touch, and Inverted Touch are not screen related issues. Kindly check your digitizer board and cable since they are the most likely cause of any touch issue; please do not open a return claiming the touch did not work. If the machine has a weakened or fragile digitizer board, the replacement unit or assembly will not have proper touch or in some cases it may not have touch at all.

Hi, I just came across to ur artical on Google. I read it and think you can give the best answer to me. I just brought Dell vostro 5480 with display HD, I wonder it change to FHD ips or more resolution like 2k display. I can"t find FHD to match my laptop since there is no FHD display 14inch to use 40pin. But I found a 2k display use 40pin with 14inch like my display. My question is I can replace that 2k on my laptop. There is something else I must concern about this. Hope to get you suggestion. Thanks

You could certainly physically swap the HD screen in your machine for a lovely IPS model such as this www.laptop-lcd-screen.co.uk/.../...14.0__33931.asp (Note we may send alternate parts of the same spec like LP156WF4/LP156WF6/N140HCE etc).

The upgrade depends if the screen cable you have, the EDP cable supports 2 lanes. If it doesn"t the upgrade will fail. So, you can check the cable with a chap called Dev at www.portables.co.uk

As you see, it"s not a great screen. It uses a technology known as TN which is very old now. As you change the viewing angle on the lid of your laptop, the display fades, colours go strange / psychedelic!

We can offer you a better option. LP156WF4/LP156WF6/N156HCE,B156HAN04.0 etc. These are IPS screens which offer a far superior colour representation that does not bleed or fade when viewed at different angles. You can pick one up here in GLOSSY www.laptop-lcd-screen.co.uk/.../...IZER__49483.asp or MATTE www.laptop-lcd-screen.co.uk/.../...IZER__49484.asp

These are AVHA screens which are a bit better than plain IPS as they include a high colour gamut as well. The colours are brighter and more realistic than a standard IPS screen.

You need to find a seller who actually has these, so don"t just buy by description or the seller may send a non IPS TN panel such as b140htn01.x as this is popular with LCD suppliers right now (Nov 2015).

By the way, these are all 30 pin screens above. I believe your original screen is 30 pin also in this model. If not you can get a new LCD cable from www.portables.co.uk. I forgot to mention that also, you may need to change the LCD cable if the current one won"t support that resolution but I think the pins are the same as the models I suggested above. I believe your original screen is N140BGE EA3 rev.C3 or compatible model.

I have have bought Asus N76VZ years ago when i was at college, doing architecture where color acuracy is only partially important. Now im in photography bussines and color is the main thing. I have other computers also but i just wonder if its possible to upgrade the screen of Asus N76VZ to 17.3" fullHD IPS since this computer still has some good processing power to offer. I also have the feeling that contrasts of its TN display have faded compared to when it was new. This upgrade could seriously prolong his useful life.

The problem you have is the screen inside is now very old, the IPS panels we have, are thinner and have different mountings so won"t fit inside the lid of your machine. You can upgrade it to FULL HD, but this is still a TN Panel www.laptop-lcd-screen.co.uk/.../...CREEN__4529.asp

The problem you may have is the LVDS cable that connects the screen to the laptop motherboard. If it is not 2 channels it won"t be able to do 1920x1080 and will light up white.

You"d have to give that a try on the basis of maybe having to return it. As for IPS as well, I don"t think so anymore, the panel style (40 PIN, LVDS, Thick screen) is now well out of production so models on offer are very limited now.

Since newer panels are thinner, that means more space inside, couldn"t i be able to adjust or make new mounts for newer screen. I have 3D printer at disposal and will have cnc router soon too. And yes i also have really strong professional glues.

It"s not a job I would want to do to be honest, but even if you could mount it somehow, you still have the issue of the connector. Your screen uses a 40 pin LVDS connector and cable, manufacturing stopped on those some years ago. Newer panels, the 17.3 we stock with IPS have a 30 PIN EDP connector. So you still need a new cable, which I think you are unlikely to find. Whilst the connector on the screen end is standardized the connector on the laptop motherboard is specific to the laptop. So you need one specially made I guess.

I have an HP Envy 4-1043cl with upgraded internals (ssd, new wifi card, 8gb ram) but the display sucks, being stuck at 1366x768. It is a WXGA 14inch (12"x7.4") with 40pin connector, and I was wondering if upgrading to FHD was possible.

This machine is too old i"m afraid. It has a 40 PIN LVDS sceeen, we only have FULL HD options now in 30 PIN EDP. 40 pin production has stopped. The best option I have for you is 1600x900, however your LCD cable (LVDS cable) must support the resolution for it to work. I would not know if it does, you would have to try the upgrade with an open mind on it maybe or maybe not working for you. www.laptop-lcd-screen.co.uk/.../...14.0__32732.asp

Unfortunately this laptop is too old. As you already saw, the IPS screens not only have different mountings, a different connector; but also different signalling as well. They are EDP and your screen is LVDS. Production stopped a while ago on 40 PIN LVDS screens.

I have an HP EliteBook 820 G1 with a TN 1366x768 panel and want to upgrade to an IPS screen. I know the screen has a 30-pin eDP connector and that a IPS panel does exist and used on some variants of this model (an LGD0404).

This machine is too old i"m afraid. Production of 40 PIN LVDS screens stopped some years ago now, we have nothing in IPS for this machine we can supply. The IPS screens being produced in 15.6 inches such as the B156HAN02.1 are 30 PIN EDP screens and also have totally different brackets and fixings. Upgrading to FULL HD *might* be doable, however this also could fail if the LCD cable you have does not support 2 channels.

As I have said in the article and in reply to others here, it depends if the laptop screen cable supports it. You need a 2 channel EDP cable. If your current cable doesn"t support it you will find the screen lighting up white with no display.

Hi. Please I have an HP G221DS Touchsmart laptop with a screen resolution of 1366x768. Will it be possible to upgrade it to an FHD screen with a resolution of 1080p?

Having read that if you feel you can separate the digitizer from the LCD panel without breaking it, this LCD would do FHD www.laptop-lcd-screen.co.uk/.../...-15.6__7009.asp

Same applies to you as the others I replied to. Will work ONLY if the eDP cable you have is 2 channel supporting 1920x1080, otherwise the new screen will light up white with no image.

I bought an HP Pavilion 15-AB219TX which I guess has a TN panel with 1366x768 resolution and I desperately want to upgrade to a FHD 1920x1080 IPS display. Is it feasible/possible?

Thanks for getting in touch. This is too old to do anything with really, the best option we can offer is 1600x900 HD+, whether it works or not depends on the cable supporting it.

Well, it seems the machine did come with 1920x1080, however, I can find no data about this model anywhere. I will need to know your original screen model number so I can match a FULL HD option for you. This link shows you the machine is capable notebookspec.com/.../6523-ASUS-K401LB-FA012D.html

You certainly can! The IPS and TN panels are totally interchangeable and the price difference is small - so we always send IPS as standard for these machines. You can pick up the lovely IPS model right here www.laptop-lcd-screen.co.uk/.../...EEN__188287.asp

Same applies to you as all the above, if the cable supports it you could use www.laptop-lcd-screen.co.uk/.../...IZER__49484.asp (MATTE) or www.laptop-lcd-screen.co.uk/.../...5.6__158134.asp (GLOSSY)

Well this is tricky, its a bit old now. There"s not much option left for 40 PIN IPS and LVDS which is what you need. We have nothing in stock. You could try to find LP156WF4 SLB1. ( www.panelook.com/...y_15.6_LCM_overview_16978.html ) But you need this exact model not a compatible screen which is what you will likely be sent now. So you need to do some research and a bit of chatting to suppliers. I doubt you will find it in the UK.

Hello! I have a sony vaio vpce b1s1e/bj, and i would like to upgrade the lcd monitor. Preferably to an IPS display. Can you recommend me a compatible screen? (if there is one). Thanks a lot in advance.

This one is too old to do anything with. It"s a relic of a CCFL screen, technology that started to phase out 10 years ago now. It has some wires coming out of it and is powered by a transformer called an Inverter which sits under the screen. Here"s some info www.laptop-lcd-screen.co.uk/.../...REEN__23512.asp

I"m trying to transfer an Oled Alienware display to another faster laptop. The connector to the laptop is 40 pin in photographs but I cannot see the connector on the display. Could the display be 30 pin? I"m guessing it"s 40 pin too. Also does PWM matter if I use another screen on a laptop, or does the display control that? Do I need to use the board that also connects the touch features? Or can I get away with connecting it directly without touch features? Lastly, can I use a longer cable ? Do they make 30 pin to 40 pin cables? Thanks a bunch, hope to hear from you.

Usually, but not always 40 PIN Screens tended to use LVDS signalling. More recently production has moved to EDP signalling with 30 PIN connectors. This isn"t written in stone however as there are no real standards with this kind of stuff.

I don"t know of converters from different pin sizes for your case but I know that we used to have 30 pin to 20 pin adapters that went on old CCFL screens here so they could be fitted to Apple laptops. It was like a female -> male adapter that just plugged onto the connector of the back of the 30 pin screen and had a 20 pin socket.

You can ditch the touch yes, but without the front glass digitizer or touch part, you will have the inside of the lid exposed when you fit the new screen, as you"ll have no bezel (plastic frame) to finish the job with.

I"m curious if you have some FHD IPS aftermarket panel for my HP ProBook 430 G3, it has terrible 1366x768 TN panel. I researched a bit and it turna out it has 30 pin edp connector.

Same deal again for you as everybody else here. Your laptop was manufactured with 1366x768 resolution here is the full specs www.laptop-lcd-screen.co.uk/.../...EEN__158287.asp

This panel would be a tremendous upgrade www.laptop-lcd-screen.co.uk/.../...IZER__31732.asp however, whether it works or not depends if your screen cable which we do not supply, is a 2 channel EDP (2 lane) cable or not.

I recently bought an asus gl553vd with a TN full hd panel. Its panel is Boe nt156fhm-n41. It"s a mediocre panel and I had trouble using it. Can I change it with Boe nv156fhm-n43 ips full hd or any other better screen. Nv156 is used in a different model of gl553vd. Even though I wanted to buy the ips model I made a mistake and can"t return the product now. The ips model is gl553vd es-71 while the other one is gl553vd dmt-030t.

We understand you. The stock BOE panel isn"t great it uses TN technology. As there is no compatibility difference between TN and IPS panels, we always offer the IPS option as standard. If you look here www.laptop-lcd-screen.co.uk/.../...EEN__188755.asp you will see we are sending an IPS screen which is far superior to the stock BOE unit.

Too old this one I am afraid. It"s almost impossible to find the stock HD panel now, these are well out of production. There is no FHD panel for this machine.

The only issue I see is that the Probook 4540s didn"t come with a FULL HD option, or at least I haven"t seen one. That means the cable connecting the screen to the motherboard (which we do not supply) might not support the upgrade.

Hi There, the stock screen in this machine which you can see here www.laptop-lcd-screen.co.uk/.../...ZER__103879.asp is quite fat compared to newer panels and has a 40 pin not 30 pin connector as the newer panels have.

There"s nothing in circulation anymore that you could use I am afraid, this panel is too old to do anything with. The newer IPS screens have different connectors and are thinner with different mountings.

LP156WF4 SLBx is a great IPS screen that *MIGHT* work if your LVDS screen cable supports 2 channel 1920x1080. I can"t find these anymore tho, they are well out of manufacture and the compatible brands.

You will see people on the shopping channel at google, all advertising that model. Including us, but we"re sending a non-ips contemptible screen such as B156HTN02.0 ( www.laptop-lcd-screen.co.uk/.../...15.6__33932.asp ) and N156HGE-LG1 ( www.laptop-lcd-screen.co.uk/.../...15.6__60630.asp ) and N156HGE-LB1 ( www.laptop-lcd-screen.co.uk/.../...15.6__33506.asp )

If the FHD screen doesn"t work the cable will need changing and you"ll need some help finding a replacement one, you can talk to www.bnpcs.com (they are an HP reseller with loads of experience that could match a cable from another machine for you )

Sorry this is a budget screen that"s a decade old now. There is nothing you can do with it in regards to IPS. There is a FULL HD panel that will fit but that depends on your LVDS cable supporting 2 channels.

Hi. I have a Lenovo Ideapad 100 14-IBY.It rocking an Intel 5200u processor with Intel HD 5500 IGP and Nvidia Geforce 920m 1GB. It has a 1366×768 TN panel. I"m not really satisfied with it so I went to search for compatible screens that have the same connector and are IPS. So far, I chose an 1920×1080 IPS panel for a Lenovo Ideapad 300. I wonder if the IPS panel is compatible with my laptop. If necessary, do I have to buy a new 2 channel cable or just use the old one. If my cable is only one channel, what would happen? Will there be no display or it will only display at 1366×768 resolution?

This machine as far as I know never came with a full hd option so it is unlikely it sports a 2 lane edp cable. Upgrading may not work the new screen may display incorrectly or light up white. You can try if you wish to install this www.laptop-lcd-screen.co.uk/.../...14.0__36322.asp but I cannot tell you if it will work

I don"t know if your current cable will support it, you would have to experiment. Here is the ips screen for your model www.laptop-lcd-screen.co.uk/.../...EEN__140899.asp

Hi, I was thinking about upgrading my HP Pavilion 15-n023sm to an IPS screen. I"m having trouble finding full specs for the screen, what I know is that it"s a 1366x768 15.6" LED backlit with 40pin connector bottom right... the rest is unknown, especially the cable type... thanx for any info you might have!

I have the either the Asus Q552 or Q553 model (touch screen and it goes to 1920x1080) and it cracked so I was wondering if it was possible to upgrade the resolution to 4k by buying the Q534UX touch screen model. I believe theyre both the same size because the laptop size but I dont know if the upgrade is possible.

You may need to change the cable if it isn"t a 2-lane eDP cable. You can pick up a FHD screen here (IPS MATTE) www.laptop-lcd-screen.co.uk/.../...REEN__40097.asp

For example you could straight swap the screen from the ASUS X550ZA as this has a 40 pin connector and the same fixings as yours. www.laptop-lcd-screen.co.uk/.../...ZER__146442.asp

I am about to purchase a Acer Predator 17 and was wondering if it"s screen is upgradable. It is IPS already, but the major drawback is that the screen is only 60hz. I have been weighing options all week and have come to this laptop, because of it having the Gtx1070 and i7 7700hq, a DVD drive, 17", and has g-sync. I gather that the 1070 is not being fully utilized, due to the 60hz limitation. I just want to know that I am not stuck with this monitor for the laptop"s life, as that may make me change my decision, as it doesn"t have PCIE either. Let me know if this is possible please.

N173HHE G32, is GSync compatible but it has a 40 pin connector and the Acer Predator has a screen with a 30 pin connector. You"d have to upgrade the cable.

Hi, I just bought this notebook Acer Aspire A315-51-30LC but the only sore note and HD screen and resolution of 1366 x 768, I would like to change it with a full HD ips panel or with the best hd ips screen, you would know would you please kindly point me a good screen compatible with my notebook?

Hello, very kind to the answer, I noticed that the version of my laptop also exists in full hd and how much I found around the internet seem to have the same connection cable. how many probabilities are the monitor running because there are 2 notebooks that differ only in the screen?

Machine Type Mode 80SM00P2GM, has a full hd screen, not sure if TN or not, but i am not happy with it at all. Basically brightness, shadows, colours always change while you move it. Its not awfull if you have it @90 degrees and watch from the sides, but moving the screen from 90 degrees messes up the picture. According to lenovo the screen is this, IN N156HGA-EBB FHDT G S NB. Can i upgrade to one with better consistant colours and brightness? IPS offcource

Interesting one, as yes the laptop does come with HD 1366x768 and FULL HD 1920x1080, although Acer say it only has a 1920x1080 screen. www.acer.com/ac/en/GB/content/model/NX.GS3EK.001

Hi I have a Acer aspire E1 431 and would like to upgrade to fhd the model number is B140XW01 v8. There are 2k panels in 40 pin that might work any advice would be very much appreciated

There is pretty much nothing you can do with this, it has an ancient (and very large) 40 PIN LVDS screen fitted. The very best you could try would be B140RW03, at just 1600x900 and still a crappy TN panel. The chances of it working are slim as you probably don"t have a 2-lane LVDS cable in the machine. If you wanted to do something crazy for 2018, then you could pick this model up and give it a go. But you"d have to understand that it might not work and you"d have to send it back for refund. www.laptop-lcd-screen.co.uk/.../...14.0__26687.asp

Hello, I have Asus G53SX-BS71-CBIL with LP156 WH4 TLA1 screen. I know that this model was supplied with FULL HD screens as well. Any replacement options with FULL HD, better viewing angles, IPS?

It"s too old to take an IPS screen, but you could try FULL HD but of course it depends if ASUS have fitted a 2-lane LVDS cable in your machine or not. www.laptop-lcd-screen.co.uk/.../...CREEN__4166.asp

This is probably way too old to replace. What you need is something like HP SPS Code 698960-001 which is LG Display code lp156wf4 (sl)(b7). In fact you could use any LP156WF4-SLBx revision. I haven"t had them for years now. Out of production. When you search for this part code all you find is people selling non IPS screens like we are. You could try a site like www.pchub.com looking for a 2nd hand model. You might get lucky.

But to be honest, it"s probably time to buy yourself a Christmas present if you want an IPS screen. DO NOT BUY A TOUCH SCREEN LAPTOP. You"ll never get parts for it if you break the display.

Hi I recently bought an Acer Aspire 3 A315-51-39N0 with a TN screen with a resolution of 1366x768, I wanted to ask you if you could tell me the best display with 1366x768 IPS resolution, or if it would be possible to upgrade to Full HD resolution with technology IPS as the laptop is also sold in Full HD version, the display should be equipped with the 30pin, if you could also indicate the IPS compatible display in full hd version.

IPS screens didn"t really exist in the era of this laptop. There is no option, I can"t even find the original screens for it anymore, they are about 10 years or more out of production.

Time for a Christmas present to yourself? If you want to buy a new machine give us a shout and we will tell you if it"s got replacement LCD options. A non IPS could be also upgraded on some new models. Stay away from Touch Screens, when they break - you can"t find the parts and the manufacturer definitely won"t help out (as they do)

One more question . Which of the ThinkPad Lenovo models ~~ 15.6 "choose to do a cheap ubgrade screen on Full HD IPS or 3K IPS (Lenovo T540p, W540, W541, W550)?

If you went for an HD 1366x768 version, it should be a straight swap but can sometimes need a cable replacement too, it"s not so likely on the Lenovo"s but bear that in mind.

Hi, I have more information about the Acer Aspire 3 A315-51-39N0, which mounts a 15.6 1366x768 panel, controlling the screen it mounts a panel with INNOLUX N156BGA-EA2 code with 30 pin eDP (1 Lane) cable, if could you tell me which is the best ips compatible and available screen and if you can tell me a secure site where to buy the panel in question. Thank you

Hi there, I have no 1366x768 IPS screen but we do have 1920x1080 FULL HD IPS screens. HOWEVER, they won"t work with a 1-lane cable. You need a 2-lane cable for FHD. You could try https://uk.eetgroup.com/ but there may not be a 2-lane cable made for the machine.

Okay, I"ve had a quick check there is a FHD cable for the machine, see if you can find it at the link I sent you above then come back to me and I will let you know which screens you can put in there. We have MATTE or GLOSSY depending on your preference in IPS for this machine.

Be very careful with this screen you already have. You won"t find a replacement. It"s a non-standard size 15.0 inches. The machine only took a specific revision of the screen which is totally unavailable now. There are no upgrade options due to the above. Be careful with the laptop!

hello nick, honestly I wanted to avoid replacing the cable because I do not have much practicality in disassembling, another solution to get a good screen at least trying to keep the resolution 1366x768 you can find it? the panel in question I could find it, but I"m not sure of the absolute compatibility www.panelook.com/...y_15.6_LCM_overview_19198.html

I have a ASUS K551LB-XX226D (i7, geforce 740m, 8GB RAM) with HD display and I would like to change it to a FHD IPS. My model came also with a FHD look here: https://www.asus.com/Laptops/K551LB/

So the laptop support FHD by hardware/software? If it has 2 lane cables then the IPS FHD display it works. Can you give me the link in order to buy the right one after I check it inside the laptop.

The hardware and software will support it, the cable needs to be 2 - lanes / 2 - channels or the upgrade won"t work. 1366x768 HD screens use a 1 - lane cable, higher resolutions require 2 lanes.

I would like to tell that on the back of my laptop appear the K551l series as a Notebook PC and on the right under a bar code is the K551LB-XX226D. This you already know, but I want you to look at a screen for this laptop which is sold for replacement but as the same HD resolution :www.emag.ro/.../ . If you see all the pictures( zoom in), can you tell for sure the pin and position and cables, so I can buy the one of the FHD screens mentioned before.

Provided you have a 2-Channel eDP cable fitted, you can use the stock screen www.laptop-lcd-screen.co.uk/.../...EEN__228070.asp or upgrade to an IPS screen www.laptop-lcd-screen.co.uk/.../...5.6__158134.asp

i have an asus s550cm with 1366x768 screen.. isit possible to upgrade to any 1920x1080 screen? i don"t have much info on the part model, all i know the cable i have is a 40pin connector..

The FULL HD version of the S550CM had a 30 pin cable connector. You would need a new cable to use the FULL HD screen. (a 30 PIN eDP cable with 2-lanes)

I have a Dell Inspiron 3537 with an 15.6 1366x768 resolution. Do you know if i can change the screen to a Full HD resolution? If yes which is the model that I can try and what cable do i need for doing that.

I own a Acer Aspire E15 (E5-571-7723) Model number 25WAH, and am hoping I can upgrade the 720p (15.6 1366x768) screen for a 1080p version. If this is possible what screen would I need exactly to do so?

There isn"t a FULL HD screen that will fit your machine, there is only HD+ 1600x900 / TN. However i think it"s unlikely you have a 2 channel LVDS cable fitted.

Also if this is a touch screen you can probably forget it, unless you are nimble with your fingers and a heat gun, so loosen the glue holding the digitizer to the old screen!

Useful stuff - I"ve just installed a FHD (TN) screen for an HP/Compaq 250 G5 into an HP/Compaq 250 G4. Confirmed in the HP Service guides that the screens were the same size, 30 pin connector in the same place and that both laptops had the same cable installed as default.

1) The original screen is so old, we haven"t been able to find them for a few years now. They are like 10 years old these panels. Last batch we had 2 yrs ago was 2nd hand with dead pixels and we had to pull them from sale.

I have a Samsung LTN156AT37 L02 stock pannel inside my Lenovo G50-70 laptop. And someone tell my that it may not be a dual channel cable linked between the display and the mother board. So do you know a way to find it ?

Looks like your laptop may already have a 2-lane cable. You can check this by inspecting the cable. Where it connects to the LCD screen, there will be a sticker close to the connector, it has the part code on it. I don"t know what they mean but google may be your friend =)

Once you confirm you are eligabe to upgrade you can use this screen in MATTE www.laptop-lcd-screen.co.uk/.../...5.6__169254.asp or this one in GLOSSY www.laptop-lcd-screen.co.uk/.../...5.6__158134.asp

For those who have a LENOVO G50-70 ou G50-50 or G50-30 I want to tell you that it is possible to upgrade your laptop screen to IPS FHD. It seems like those models have a native 2 channel lane eDP 30pins connector that can fit a full HD pannels.

Hi I"ve just bought a Dell 5570 15.6 which is nice and fast with ssd and 8th gen processor but let down by screen. It"s 1080p and anti glare but really full and washed out. Do you have a good IPS panel that would improve things?
