dyson lcd screen quotation
Some people are always going to mock the idea of buying a Dyson cordless vacuum. When I told a friend of mine I’ve been testing out the company’s latest, top-tier V11 Torque Drive — and revealed its $700 price — she couldn’t contain her laughter and quickly said, “I’ll stick with my $80 Bissell.” The Verge isn’t in the habit of reviewing vacuums, and I don’t expect that to change anytime soon. But if you’re in the market for a Dyson and opt to buy the most expensive V11, there’s something unique about it compared to all past models: it has an LCD screen. Maybe that’s why the company thought it made sense to send us one. I’m not going to be the one to sell you on a Dyson, but I do use plenty of screens. Does a vacuum cleaner really need one?
The circular display on the V11 Torque Drive has three purposes: it shows which mode you’re in when vacuuming, how much time you’ve got left before the battery runs out, and instructions for what to do if the device detects a blockage or that the filter needs replacing. And that’s basically it. It’s not a touchscreen; you switch between modes by pressing the button below the LCD.
But something about the screen made the V11 feel at least slightly more gadget-y than a typical corded stand-up vacuum. You’d hope something would feel a little special about this $700 suction machine — aside from Dyson’s famous ability to gloriously over-engineer anything. I think most of all, I really came to appreciate the real-time estimate of remaining battery life. You won’t find yourself hurriedly vacuuming to make sure you finish before it turns off. Dyson says the vacuum monitors battery capacity four times every second, which seems like overkill, but is also a very Dyson thing to do.
Auto: This is one of the new tricks of Dyson’s latest vacuum. It can detect when you’re on different surfaces and automatically adjust the intensity of suction power as you move between them. The power will ramp up on carpets and ease back down on hardwood floors. Auto mode allows for a really nice balance of battery life, reaching up to 30 minutes or so on a charge in my experience. It only works with the main “high torque” cleaner head, as the other bundled extensions lack the Dynamic Load Sensor system required for the V11 to know what type of floor it’s on. That brush head measures resistance (“Am I on a carpet or flat ground?”) up to 360 times per second. When other attachments are used, this mode changes to medium suction.
Eco: If you’re just doing an in-between clean or have a house or apartment that’s pretty easy on vacuums, Eco mode will ensure you get the most from the V11’s battery. You should be able to reach upward of an hour before it dies, which is considerably longer than older Dyson cordless vacuums.
There’s no on or off switch on a Dyson, in case you’re unfamiliar with them. Instead, you’ve got to hold down the trigger on the handle to run the vacuum motor. One of my absolute favorite things about the V11 is the sound that it makes when you release that trigger: it’s like something out of a Marvel movie, or what I’d imagine a ray gun powering down to sound like. I had The Verge’s resident audio wiz Andrew Marino record it:
Yes, Dyson vacuums pick up a surprising and often disgusting amount of dust, dirt, dog hair, and other household grime. I live in an apartment with two pugs — one of them nearly 15 and shedding without abandon — and this cordless stick vacuum can suck all of it up. When it comes time to empty the V11, you just press down on the red lever and it fires all of the muck right into your trash bin. The filter, which Dyson says “traps 99.97 percent of particles as small as 0.3 microns,” should be cleaned monthly, which only requires washing it with water and leaving it to dry for 24 hours.
I should mention that the cheaper $599 V11 Animal has all of the exact same functionality and cleaning power — including auto mode — as the pricier Torque Drive model. The only difference is that LCD screen. With the Animal, you get a less precise three-bar battery meter. You also lose out on one of the smaller cleaning brushes, but there are already plenty in the box as is.
So is the LCD worth an extra $100? It really depends on how much you care about a by-the-minute look at remaining battery runtime. It certainly helps alleviate the range anxiety that can happen with other Dyson vacuums, where you never really know when they are going to die on you. The videos for filter cleaning reminders or clearing out a blockage are also fairly convenient, as you’ll never have to worry about an instruction manual for your fancy vacuum. If you’re already committed to going in on a Dyson, maybe the extra cash won’t matter much to you.
But the V11’s introduction means that Dyson’s older cordless models are only going to get cheaper, and they’re plenty capable at sucking your floors clean — only without the screen.
Exactly how and what air purifiers do when cleaning your air is a mystery to a lot of consumers. Most people set a machine down and change the filter every so often to find all sorts of dust inside. Dyson is hoping to help people better understand what an air purifier is sucking up, so the company is introducing a new version of its air purifier that now comes with an LCD screen to tell you what pollutants are inside your home.
The Dyson Pure Cool looks like all the other purifiers the company has sold in the past, with a hollow oval shape that gives it a distinct look. But there’s now a circle-shaped LCD screen on the base that can cycle through various pollutant levels like smoke, pollen, or fumes from vehicles. When the machine senses these particles, a bar graph spikes to indicate presence, and you can watch the machine work to filter these particles out to level the graph back to normal.
It’s a lot of information on a tiny screen, and it can be difficult to make sense of them at first glance. When you set up the machine, it just starts with that screen. There are letters like PM, NO2, and μG that can easily confuse anyone who has been out of high school science for a while. To better understand what all the numbers and symbols mean, users have to look to the manual as an encyclopedia. A glossary of terms can be found in the accompanying Dyson Link app as well, the company says.
“We want to educate people more on what’s bad in their homes,” Dyson tells The Verge. While symbols like a flower and a car make it pretty clear what allergens the machine is referring to, the UI still comes across a bit too technical. While it’s true that consumers do want to learn more about how their machines work, inundating them with graphs may not be for everyone.
Dyson says the Pure Cool purifier is now capable of eliminating 99.97 percent of microscopic allergens and pollutants as small as 0.3 microns. Again, interpret that how you will as an average consumer. If you have high allergy sensitivities, and other air purifiers have not worked for you, the Pure Cool might be worth checking out based on your specific needs.
The machine has a two-layer filter (a HEPA filter in the outer layer and a carbon filter inside) that needs to be changed once a year when used for 12 hours a day. Clean air is projected up to 20 feet from the machine, and it now has a vent on the back side of the oval to blow air backward. Dyson says a common request from previous machines is that, in the winter, consumers would like to avoid having cool air blown into their living spaces. You can schedule the Pure Cool on a cleaning schedule, but this requires the use of the Dyson Link app. Otherwise, you’ll need to be around to manually turn the machine on and off, use a limited sleep mode on the machine, or leave it on auto all day for the fan to detect particles and suck them up when needed.
The air purifier is not the only machine Dyson is introducing today. Alongside the Pure Cool, Dyson also unveiled the Dyson Cyclone V10, the latest version of its cordless vacuums. Previous Dyson cordless vacuums have had a rather abysmal battery life, requiring many hours of charge for only about 20 minutes of cleaning. While the V10 does still need three and a half hours of charge, it will now last users up to one hour of continuous power. The company believes this battery life is efficient enough that it will discontinue making uprights and focus on building future vacuums off the V10 motor.
New with the V10’s design is a new location for the bin opening and a battery indicator that notifies users when the machine will soon need to be charged. Dyson has also placed the charging port on the bottom of the handle instead of the back, so those who mount their chargers on the wall can easily dock the machine down instead of scooping it upward to plug it in.
The Pure Cool and Cyclone V10 are both available for purchase today on Dyson.com in the United States. The Pure Cool starts at $449, comes in two sizes, and will be available in international markets over the course of March and April. Filters are $80. The V10 starts at $499 for just the motor that you can connect to V8 attachments if you already own a Dyson cordless vacuum. Additional attachments for ceiling fans, cars, or hard floors are sold separately via Dyson.
In-line configuration - allows for the air to be drawn straight in and as a result creates a powerful Dyson suction. Twice the suction of any cord-free vacuum
We currently recommend the entry-level Dyson V8 series, as well as the top-tier Dyson V15 series, which has consistently outcleaned every other cordless stick vacuum we’ve tried.
However, the new Dyson V12 Detect Slim, released earlier this year, offers many of the features we love on the V15 for about $150 less. After spending about eight hours testing the V12 on a mix of rugs, tiles, vinyl floors, and hardwood floors—generously covered with cat and bunny fur, kitty litter, and bunny poop—we’ve concluded that the V12 Detect Slim is worth considering as an alternative to the V15, especially if you can find it for $500 or less.
We have long complained about the discomfort of Dyson’s trigger-style switches, which you have to squeeze while vacuuming—it’s particularly bothersome if you have hand or wrist pain. The V12 trades that uncomfortable feature for a simple on/off button. You are now free to switch hands while navigating around table legs and litter boxes! This is a huge advantage over the V8 and V15 series.
The Dyson V8 is better than nearly all other cordless vacuums (besides other Dysons) at deep-cleaning rugs. Though the trigger-style power switch and built-in battery can be frustrating for some people, this vacuum has had excellent reviews from owners over many years. Try to wait for a sale, when it costs less than $400.
If you want a cordless vacuum that fully replaces a plug-in, a high-end Dyson is as close as it gets. The Dyson V15 is actually better than lots of plug-in vacuums at cleaning rugs. Owners love the auto-adjusting suction.
Do you need a laser on your vacuum? Probably not, but as we note in our guide, in typical Dyson fashion the laser is part gimmick and part actual innovation. Like the V15, the V12 features a green laser headlight, which illuminates your path and helps reveal dirt and debris.
Like the V15, the V12 features an LCD screen with a particle counter, which estimates the size and type of particles the vacuum has sucked up. It will tell you, depending on particle size, whether you live in a pollen-, skin-flake-, dust-mite- or flea-ridden home. (My house? All of the above!) But all jokes aside, is there anything you can actually do with this information? Not really, aside from wallowing in how gross the world is. The only practical feature on the LCD screen is the run-time countdown, so you can race against the clock to make your little corner of the world a cleaner place.

As huge fans of the V11 Outsize, we were wondering what Dyson"s next act would bring. Its successor, the new Dyson V15 Detect, is similar in some ways. In others, the V15 Detect goes far beyond the older stick vacuum, however.
We purchased our V15 from Dyson direct. Before doing so, we had seen commercials and taken more than one trip to Dyson"s website. Features that were heavily marketed were the V15"s Laser Slim Fluffy head, the LCD screen which shows "real-time scientific proof of a deep clean" among other things, an acoustic piezo sensor which counted microscopic particles as they were sucked up into the vacuum.
While the battery of our latest Dyson was charging, we took inventory of all the accessories the cordless vacuum cleaner ships with. The two main cleaning heads are new designs for the V15 Detect.
The High Torque Head is similar to the short, stiff bristle one which shipped with the V11 with the addition of an anti-tangle comb. The Laser Slim Fluffy head is a new design altogether, picking up where the V10"s soft roller head left off. We will cover the main cleaning heads in more detail below. The V15 is the first Dyson stick vacuum that has offered something simply better than the competition while at an appropriate price in years. No, the V15 is not inexpensive by any measure. But, we feel it is worth the money if what you want is the highest performing cordless stick vacuum money can buy.
In short, Dyson"s latest cordless" suction was amazing, and the Laser Slim Fluffy head is a game changer. After using it once you realize that many more high-end cordless stick vacuums will have this someday. The laser light is far more useful than a headlight, or that lack of either, which is what you"ll find in most competing vacuums.
The V15 Detect has a Dyson Hyperdymium™ motor and Root Cyclone technology. You need not know what those are specifically or how many cyclones the V15 has (there"s 14 cyclones in case you"re interested). The motor spins at up to 125,000 RPM and creates high levels of centrifugal force, sucking up and trapping fine dust, dirt and particles in the dustbin.
When you first remove the V15 Detect from the box the vacuum will have a limited charge. And, the LCD screen and manual both caution to not use the vacuum without first performing a full charge.
Dyson"s V15 Detect performed exceptionally well in all cleaning tests. Our aggregate scores below take into account multiple testing methods on each surface type.
Actual run time for the V15 in its various modes met what the Dyson engineers approved for publishing on their website. Of course, a number of factors determine battery life. Using a non-powered head, for instance, increases battery life as does using the Eco suction mode. In our real-world use we keep the vacuum in Auto mode, allowing it to adjust the suction as it cleans.
With high-performance comes weight, namely in the battery department. The Dyson V15 Detect has what they call a clickable battery, Dyson-speak for user-replaceable, or removable battery. It takes a heavy, high-density battery to provide the performance the V15 Detect offers.
The usability is fantastic overall on the V15. We were impressed with the LCD screen, not just because it displays what the piezo sensor counts, but because of everything else it does.
The LCD screen shows remaining battery life in minutes, and even provides visual instructions for cleaning the on-board filters and other light maintenance.
There"s a lot that ships with Dyson"s V15 line. We"ve cataloged that below as well as a few specifications and features. Do note that the Detect and Detect+ ship with a few differences.
We have had a hot-and-cold relationship with Dyson cordless vacuums. As their stick vacuums have evolved, they"ve undoubtedly improved in suction and battery life. We have, however, taken issue with their pricing. More clearly, some older Dyson models have simply cost too much for the performance they offer.
Dyson really pulled out all the stops when designing and pricing the Dyson V15 product line. Some will balk at the price, and that"s fair. But, the price-sensitive consumer isn"t who this vacuum was designed for. The Dyson V15 line was made for those who want the convenience of a cordless vacuum but still want the highest level of cleaning performance available.
To be clear, we recommend the Dyson V15 Detect as it is the best cordless vacuum we have tested as far as overall performance is concerned. While the price may seem steep, the non-plus Detect sells for under $700 which seems appropriate for this level of performance.
One notch up, and only available direct from Dyson, the V15 Detect plus sells at $749 MSRP. The plus model has two exclusive features, a post-motor HEPA filter and the in-wand dusting and crevice tool.
As it stands today, the Dyson V15 is literally in a class of its own. With its unique features, incredible suction and ample battery life, it truly does offer something we cannot find in other vacuums. But, there"s a lot of cordless stick vacuums available at every price point.Of course, its price tag and target market don"t make it the right cordless stick vac for everyone.
For a homeowner that is sensitive to dust, pet dander or could, even to themselves, take on the label of full or part-time germophobe, the V15 will be a no-brainer. We aren’t among those user groups.. And, we were highly cynical with Dyson and what we assumed were gimmicks that the V15 offered. We were happily wrong, and the Dyson V15 is a welcome addition in our home.
The V15 is the first Dyson stick vacuum that has offered something simply better than the competition while at an appropriate price in years. No, the V15 is not inexpensive by any measure. But, we feel it is worth the money if what you want is the highest performing cordless stick vacuum money can buy.
A well-featured vacuum that has the power and battery life to handle everything we threw at it, our one major quibble with the V15 Detect, as you can read below, is its high price. This stonking deal from Dyson has gone a good way to addressing that, taking a massive £149 off the Detect price when we reviewed (and this + model has even more tools).
Dyson’s cordless stick vacuum cleaners need little introduction, and have a history of being both the best and most expensive models money can buy. The Dyson V15 Detect Absolute is the latest generation to join the clan and, as you’d expect, it’s more powerful and feature-packed than any model Dyson has launched to date.
At first glance you’d be forgiven for questioning whether anything has changed, because the Dyson V15 looks so remarkably similar to its predecessors. It measures 249 x 267 x 1,260mm (WDH) with the wand and motor head attached, and it weighs 3.08kg.
There are also two new anti-tangle heads, which work in slightly different ways to keep your carpet brushes free from tangled hair. The main floor head, which Dyson calls the High Torque Cleaner, combs hair out of its brush as it goes, lifting hair away from the roller and passing it through to the vacuum tube.
For once, the latest Dyson isn’t the most expensive vacuum in the range. At £50 more, that honour falls to the V11 Outsize, which has a bigger dust collection bin and a wider cleaning head than the V15. If you have a large house and a lot of floor to cover, the V11 Outsize is probably a more sensible choice, although it does lack the anti-tangle attachments and dust-detection technologies.
If you can’t stretch to £649 for a vacuum, that’s completely understandable, and stepping down in price doesn’t mean compromising on quality. The Dyson V8, despite its age, is still a worthy contender at £349.
For the real bargains, you need to walk away from the Dyson stable entirely and check out its cordless rivals. Both the Vax Blade 4 and Vax Blade 3 did a good job of cleaning in our tests and prices on those start at a very reasonable £169.
For a smaller, lighter model that doesn’t cost as much as the Dysons, the Eufy HomeVac S11 Infinity costs a mere £230 at Eufy, and comes with plenty of handy accessories and a useful second battery.
The Absolute in this Dyson’s name lets you know that this is the model that comes with all the extras, and the box is certainly overflowing with attachments. I’ve already mentioned the three motorised floor heads, but there’s also a selection of other accessories: a crevice tool for getting into nooks and crannies; a soft brush tool for agitating and collecting dust on delicates; and a handy combination tool, which can either be a brush or a simple angled tube.
As for the design, that follows the same template that has been in place since the V10. The main vacuum unit containing the device’s motor and cyclones sits above a pistol grip handle. The 0.76-litre dust collection bin is mounted forward of this, between the motor and any attachment you might be using. There’s a button on the rear for swapping between the various modes and an LCD display above it.
The Dyson V15 Detect Absolute doesn’t have the heft of the V11 Outsize’s 3.5kg, but it still passes the 3kg mark comfortably. Coupled with the powerful suction, I found this was a considerable weight to push around, particularly on thicker carpet. If you want something lighter and more manoeuvrable, the Eufy HomeVac S11 Infinity would be our pick.
In terms of suction power, this is Dyson’s most powerful vacuum to date. Dyson vacuums cut out if their airways are blocked, so measuring suction is problematic using our usual vacuum pressure gauge. At the Dyson V15 Detect Absolute’s maximum setting, peak suction reached 31kPa, at which point the vacuum cut out.
I tried both the large floor heads on Cheerios spills on a hard floor and the result in each test was perfection. The Dyson V15 Detect Absolute collected 100% of the spilled material; an exceptional performance. I kept the soft head on for the flour test and it gathered every last gram.
Here, a colour LCD screen shows which mode you have selected and how long the cleaner has left before the battery will run out. During cleaning, it also displays information generated by the last of the Dyson’s new features: its acoustic dust sensor.
This “listens” to dust particles bouncing off it as they pass, both counting and categorising them by size, then displaying what it has collected in a bar chart on the screen. I have to admit I don’t see the benefit of this. Dyson argues it helps reassure you that a deep clean has occurred, but arguably you get that from seeing the collection bin fill up with muck.
On Economy mode, I found the battery lasted 50 minutes, while you’ll only see 11 minutes of cleaning on the Max setting. Recharging the battery takes around 4hrs 30mins. The Dyson V11 Outsize lasts longer in its low-power mode (nearly 1hr 20mins), but much less time in maximum-power mode (9mins 8secs).
Dyson has done it again. This cordless stick vacuum cleaner tackled everything we threw at it, with cleaning power that’s just as good as its previous models, and backs this up with a slew of new and worthwhile features.
The three redesigned motorised heads are all eminently useful. Anti-tangle rollers aren’t new to vacuuming, but it’s good to see Dyson finally embracing the technology, and the dust-spotting laser leaves you in no doubt your hard floor is clean. The Dyson V15 Detect Absolute is the best cordless vacuum you can buy right now.
Enter the Shark Rocket Pet Pro. Available for $330, it delivers cleaning power that closely matches the V11, but it costs much less than Dyson"s luxury appliance. How do these two modern vacuum cleaners really measure up against each other? Let"s take a deep dive into the particular strengths and weaknesses of each model.
With a steep sticker price of $600, the Dyson V11 Torque Drive is one of the most expensive cordless vacuum cleaners on the market. It"s also the best performing stick vac we"ve tested to date. The V11 scoured our lab floors virtually spotless, picking up numerous types of dirt and debris in the process. It"s simple to operate, too, and it comes with lots of extra attachments in the box.
At $300, the Shark Rocket Pet Pro sure costs a lot less than Dyson"s flagship stick vac. But that doesn"t mean it isn"t a worthy challenger. In fact, in many areas, the Rocket matched the Dyson V11"s uncanny ability to clean our test floors. It"s also a breeze to operate, which is yet another reason to consider buying this machine.
The primary mission of any vacuum is to remove as much dirt and debris from your floors as possible. In this department, the Dyson V11 Torque Drive does not disappoint. On our most difficult vacuum test -- sand -- the V11 showcased its prowess and picked up the highest percentage of grit we tossed across our test flooring. That covers three types of floor surfaces, too; hardwood (99.59%), low-pile carpet (78.53%) and mid-pile carpet (71.57%).
The Shark Rocket Pet Pro was no slouch here either, vacuuming up almost as much sand from our lab floors as the Dyson V11. It managed 67.59% pickup on low-pile carpeting, which is about 10% less than the V11 -- but on thicker, plushier mid-pile carpeting, it picked up 72.41%, which beats Dyson by a nose.
Both vacuums had little difficulty pulling sand away from hardwood floors, where there aren"t any carpet fibers for particles to cling to and hide beneath. The Shark came in at a perfect 100% while the Dyson V11 picked up 99.59% of the debris.Percentage of sand removed
Pet hair isn"t a problem either. The V11 removed all traces of dander from mid-pile and low-pile carpets without any issues. On hardwood, however, the Dyson missed a stray clump, and a few stands became wrapped around the brush roll, too.
Outfitted with a handy LCD screen, the Dyson V11 displays relevant information such as battery level and its predicted runtime. It"s a good design, with the LCD sitting above the handle on the back of the machine, so it"s always within sight while you"re using it. Emptying the V11"s dustbin is a cinch too. Just point the vacuum into the trash, push its release tab away from you, then pull it back. It"s the simplest procedure on a stick vac that I"ve seen. The Dyson V11 has a handy LCD screen that displays how much vacuum time left in its battery.Dyson
With the most cleaning tools in the box, the Dyson V11 Torque Drive is the clear winner in terms of extras. Apart from the main High Torque cleaner head, you get five additional attachments. Here"s a quick rundown:Mini motorized tool
At half the price of the Dyson V11, the Shark Rocket Pet Pro is the hands-down best choice if your objective is to save money. That"s not to say you can"t snag a
With a score of 3 to 1, it isn"t quite a clean sweep, but the Dyson V11 Torque Drive comes out on top. Ultimately, it"s the better overall choice if you value raw performance and lots of included extras. On the other hand, if your goal is to save as much cash as possible without sacrificing too much cleaning ability, the Shark Rocket Pet Pro is a compelling alternative.
As it’s running, you’ll see real-time reporting on the LCD screen so you can also manually adjust the power level (and suction) however you see fit. You’ll also be able to quickly see how much battery life it has left so you know how much more of your home you can get clean before it needs to recharge.
This model has 60% more power than the popular Dyson V8 and was designed specifically for large homes with pets, so you know it can get the job done. On top of all of this, it breaks down into a handheld vacuum with multiple attachments so you can really dig in and clean up the nooks and crannies around your home.
In short: V8, V11, V12, V15, Absolute, Absolute Extra, Animal, and so on: Dyson has many different models and types (view all models). It’s a good idea to know the differences when purchasing, otherwise you may end up paying too much for features and accessories you don’t use. I’ve described all models so you better know which Dyson to buy.
If there is a vacuum cleaner brand with many different types of vacuum cleaners, it is Dyson. At the time of writing, there are 3 types of vacuum cleaners with 13 different models in no fewer than 36 versions. Chances are you’re not seeing the wood for the trees in this Dyson jungle.
Let me start with the different Dyson vacuum cleaners out there. At the moment Dyson offers three types of vacuum cleaners:Canister vacuum cleaners (Dyson Big Ball): bagless wheeled vacuum cleaners with a cord.
When it comes to canister vacuums, you won’t be stressed about choice: you can choose from the Dyson Big Ball Parquet for wooden floors or a Multi Floor for different floor types.
The questions mainly arise with the Dyson stick vacuums. In fact, the vacuum cleaners are so similar that people who own a Dyson vacuum cleaner sometimes ask themselves ‘Which Dyson do I have?‘ So no: it’s not crazy if you don’t know which Dyson you can buy best.
Dyson offers its cordless stick vacuums in V-series. From the Dyson V7 to the latest Dyson V15 Detect. At the moment Dyson distinguishes between the following series:Dyson V8
Each Dyson V Series has its own unique characteristics. In the overview below you will discover the major differences.SpecificationV8V10V11V12V15Avg. Battery life25 min45 min60 min30 min60 min
The Dyson V8 is the cheapest choice. This vacuum cleaner has a lower battery life and a relatively smaller dust container compared to other models. With this model you can choose from the Dyson V8 Absolute, Absolute+, Animal+, TotalClean, and the Motorhead.Dyson V8AbsoluteAbsolute+Animal+TotalCleanMotorheadFloor brush with soft roller✓✓✓
The Dyson V10 has a longer battery life than the V8 and has a somewhat larger dust container. There are currently four different versions: the Dyson V10 Motorhead, Animal, Absolute and Allergy.Dyson V10MotorheadAnimalAbsoluteAllergyFloor brush with soft roller✓
The Dyson V11 is equipped with an LCD screen and can vacuum for up to 60 minutes. There are four different choices: the Dyson V11 Absolute Extra, Absolute Pro, Animal+ and the Torque Drive Extra.Dyson V11Absolute ExtraAbsolute Extra ProAnimal+Torque Drive ExtraFloor brush with soft roller✓✓
The Dyson V12 is also called the V12 Slim, because it is so light and compact. On the other hand, you do have a small dust container and a shorter battery life than other Dyson’s. Here you can choose from three different options: the Dyson V12 Slim Motorhead, Absolute or Complete.Dyson V12 SlimMotorheadAbsoluteCompleteDirect Drive Cleaner head✓✓✓
The Dyson V15 is Dyson’s newest vacuum cleaner. This model is equipped with laser technology and a Piezo sensor, with which it is possible to measure exactly what is being sucked up. This information is shared on the LCD screen.Dyson V15 DetectAbsoluteAbsolute ExtraHigh Torque Cleaner Head✓✓
In addition to the V8, V10, V11, V12 Slim and the V15 Detect series, Dyson also has a number of unique vacuum cleaners. I have decided not to include these in the overview, because they are so unique that you cannot really compare them with the rest.Dyson Omni Glide:this is a stick vacuum that is equipped with a 360-degree rotating suction brush. It is only suitable for hard floors. Check out my Dyson Omni Glide review for more information.
Dyson Micro 1.5kg:a lightweight and compact Dyson vacuum cleaner of only 1.5 kilograms. In the Dyson Micro 1.5kg review I came to the conclusion that this is the best lightweight vacuum cleaner at the moment.
Dyson Outsize: a stick vacuum with an extra large dust capacity, a longer battery life and a wide suction brush. Previously there was also a Dyson V11 Outsize, but Dyson has stopped production.
In addition to the exceptional models, Dyson also has a variant in gold for various models. The vacuum cleaner rod, the dust container and even the suction brush can be ordered in gold. A must-have for real Dyson fans.
