Chapter 5: IP rating of waterproof monitorThe waterproof monitor is used in the complex environment. The outdoor types will meet all weathers, such as rain, snow, dust and so on. The IP rating is the best standard to describe the capability that the monitors to protect themselves from damage.

For example, if you need a monitor for your marine boat, then the IP rating is at least IP67. If you want to use a waterproof monitor for your outdoor digital signal, then you can choose the IP65. For large sizes, the aluminum enclosures are most commonly used, caused by they are light and easy to be processed.

The small size waterproof monitors are always parts of some products. They are mounted to the brackets of the products. The large size monitors can be wall mounted and freestanding.
